Senator John McCain wrote:
Americans recoiled from the repugnant spectacle of white supremacists marching in Charlottesville to promote their un-American “blood and soil” ideology. There is nothing in their hate-driven racism that can match the strength of a nation conceived in liberty and comprising 323 million souls of different origins and opinions who are equal under the law....

We seem convinced that majorities exist to impose their will with few concessions and that minorities exist to prevent the party in power from doing anything important.

That’s not how we were meant to govern Our entire system of government — with its checks and balances, its bicameral Congress, its protections of the rights of the minority — was designed for compromise. It seldom works smoothly or speedily. It was never expected to.....

The criminals are the ones making the laws. All assumed powers have no constitutional authority, and are therefore illegal and invalid. The great number of the illegal laws merely demonstrates the great need for their removal from American life, and the placing of those making such illegal laws into the world of unemployment.

Yes- a better way to clarify the modern insane asylum run by the criminally insane- making laws against sanity.

"We all know ignorance of the law is no excuse. If you violate a law, you suffer the penalty for it,” Barton said. “If you take the U.S. code as it exists right now, today, if you read 700 pages a week of the U.S. code, national calculations are that you can finish the U.S. code in only 25,000 years.”

According to a Wall Street Journal article, there have been countless attempts to count the number of federal criminal laws alone, but Ronald Gainer, a retired Justice Department official, said “you will have died and resurrected three times” before you can figure out the answer.

John Baker, a retired Louisiana State University law professor, made a similar comment to the Wall Street Journal: “There is no one in the United States over the age of 18 who cannot be indicted for some federal crime. … That is not an exaggeration.”

This is certainly a piece of good news. Of course, you won't see it reported in your local newspaper or local TV newscasts. As they see it, every regulation is good, and protects the public from Evil Business Interests.
