Mexicans who help build Trump wall 'traitors,' top Archdiocese says
Mexicans who help build U.S. President Donald Trump's planned border wall would be acting immorally and should be deemed traitors, the Catholic Archdiocese of Mexico said on Sunday, turning up the heat on a simmering dispute over the project.

In a provocative editorial, the country's biggest Archdiocese sought to increase pressure on the government to take a tougher line on companies aiming to profit from the wall, which has strained relations between Trump and the Mexican government.

"Any company intending to invest in the wall of the fanatic Trump would be immoral, but above all, its shareholders and owners should be considered traitors to the homeland," said the editorial in Desde la fe, the Archdiocese's weekly publication. ...

true Israel are born again believers sealed to the Prince of Peace, Jesus Christ according to the New Testament.

Anyone who would harm the brethren or break them apart (according to their race) are in rebellion to the new covenant and lack understanding.

May the Lord lead them to repentance for making an idol and harming the brethren.

There are numerous nominal Christians and churches in Israel already, and there are actually Christians in Israel also. The nominal Christians and some of the actual Christians are probably disliked by many Jews in Israel, because they do not recognize, ]]Israel and the Church: the Differences

The best missionaries to the Jews, are former Jews themselves. Jews for Jesus and the Zola Levitt Ministries probably have been good delivers of the Christian message.

There are a few Christian churches there already.

As for American Christians who go there on tour, they could turn Israel upside down.

BTW, is having Jerusalem a tourist attraction equivalent to Peter wanting to build a tabernacle for Jesus, Moses, and Elijah on the Mt of Transfiguration?

Just thinking about the role the Holy Spirit has in converting the soul when we are moved by inventions of men.

Jesus didn't rise from the cross, John. He rose from the tomb. Any depiction of the risen Christ on the cross is a false one.

When you really hate someone you stay as far away from them as you can. Right?
They need to be converted.

G'day and god bless, I'm doing well thanks kev and Christopher.
G'day John.
Only Jesus was perfect.
Luther, like all humans made mistakes, I don't particularly like anti Semitic views, I'm not an Israelite, I'm a Christian.
Israel are The Nation/people That God chose as his.
So in my train of thought, Luther was far from perfect and was most certainly not always correct.
The reformers did much good, but they also left much that should've been challenged, but all in god's time.

1. None of the Reformers were 'popes', John, all were 'fallible', say not perfect.
2. The issue of Luther and the Jews needs to be better documented in its historical context

3. Christ being God, the command of not making an image of him applies. See,
"I and my Father are one" Jhn 10:30

"Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image,
or *any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above*" Exo 20:4

"Take ye therefore good heed unto yourselves; for ye saw no manner of similitude on the day that the LORD spake unto you in Horeb out of the midst of the fire ... only ye heard a voice.
Lest ye corrupt yourselves, and make you a graven image, the similitude of any figure" Det 4

"No man has seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him."Jhn 1:18

"The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he sees the Father do:
for what things soever he does, these also does the Son likewise" Jh 5:19

Unfortunately, John Y., Luther was in error in more things than that. See ]]http://tinyurl.com/gnvynm7 (Martin Luther---General Teachings/Activities).

His anti-Jewishness can only be considered anti-Christian,

John,
The problem with your answer is that the presence of a crucifix within church walls has nothing to do with doctrine. Yet, you stated that Luther was led by The Spirit to retain it. To me, this sounds as if you believe anything, doctrinal, or otherwise, that Luther said or did was error free and that all should follow and believe. Otherwise, your first comment doesn't make sense.

Christopher, Luther under the guidance of the Holy Spirit kept the Crucifix in the Lutheran Church. So if the Holy Spirit guided Luther to keep the Crucifix in the Lutheran Church then the Holy Spirit is not against the Crucifix.

Amen brother Christopher!
Our blessed assurance is our risen Christ in heaven, that is coming back. For our glory and faith lies in the grace of the empty cross.

Well, I've lived long enough to have seen many people who should have had neither crucifix nor cross in their possession. By the way they were living it was obvious that they were not thinking about Christ crucified or risen.

I don't believe a false image, some artists imagery, of Christ should be depicted anywhere, anyway. As far as the cross is concerned, I believe it should be empty, since Christ has risen, conquering, and transcending death and the grave.
Don't get me started on the pontifical staff that the Pope carries with a contorted, emaciated, disfigured Christ hanging helplessly on it.
