Every church that desires to please God must be committed to at least three basic components. First, it needs to be committed to God’s mission, which involves both the evangelism of sinners and the edification (building up) of the saints. We fulfill this mission when we are committed to faithfully communicating His message, which is found in God’s sufficient, reliable, inerrant Word. We don’t need to create our own message, repackage God’s message, or seek to make it more palatable to today’s culture. We simply need to teach it, explain it, and apply it as clearly and completely as we can. Thirdly, we must be committed to God’s means: preaching. As Paul stated, “God] hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour” (Titus 1:3).
SermonAudio strives to “cover the globe with faithful preaching." Each week we hear from grateful churches who share feedback regarding our partnership with them. We share some of what we hear to encourage you to rejoice in what God is doing for His glory in various places!
SermonAudio is proud to be a partner with FAME as we co-produce a weekly 'audio journal podcast' called Five Minutes of FAME taken from a first-person perspective by Field Leader, Rodney Davidson. Learn more about how to support the work!
But first, some other encouragements!
Our good friend Mark Mulfinger has completed a unique large format piece depicting some of the great pillars of the Reformation : Tyndale, Luther, Calvin, Knox in celebration of 500 years. We continue in the great heritage of the Reformation with our Foundations Conference on preaching and praying.
Please note that we've updated the hotel accommodations information on the conference website which includes a group rate at the Holiday Inn Financial District, the tallest one in the world.
Encouraging broadcaster feedback..
Below is some of the feedback from broadcasters we've received just this past week. We encourage you to contact them and tell them that you saw them here!
Matthew Eide, Covenant Reformed Presbyterian, PCA www.sermonaudio.com/covrefpca"SermonAudio makes a great effort at keeping the cost reasonable for being a broadcaster so that it is accessible to smaller churches. Being on the site has given us far greater exposure than simply uploading our sermons to our own church website. We have seen good results since partnering with you. We get feedback from different parts of the world. We appreciate that our people can share messages with friends and family with minimal effort."
Tom McConnell, Grace Bible Church Rugby www.sermonaudio.com/gbcr"We are a small church plant in a country with an increasing international population. We are grateful for a number of people who have visited our church because they located us on your site and listened to some of our messages. Although not all have stayed and worshipped with us, what we have found is that people who are looking for a church committed to biblical ministry often look on SermonAudio. We are thankful for the media platform that you provide for our ministry. (edited)"
Jasmine, website administrator, Metropolitan Tabernacle London, England www.sermonaudio.com/mettabernacle"The staff at SermonAudio has always been incredibly helpful in answering questions about features on the site that we didn’t fully understand as well as in addressing technical problems we have faced. The number of downloads from the site have always been very strong for us. They have never dipped and have even increased in the last six months. Whenever we use the text featured tool we notice it always has a great impact. Not only do more people listen to the featured sermon but we find it draws people to listen to additional sermons from our church and it drives more traffic to our own website. We don’t care whether people find our sermons through our own website or through SermonAudio; we just want to get the message out. We also advertise our annual church conference through your site. We can’t tell you how appreciative we have been of your help and services."
Jeremy Walker, Maidenbower Baptist Church www.sermonaudio.com/mbc"There are many reasons why I appreciate SermonAudio. The site has a clean design, the advertising is not overly aggressive, and the price is reasonable. We appreciate the unlimited audio uploads, and the new reduced price for video. I have found your site useful as a way of recommending particular resources to people. Others have found us or learned more about us through our presence on SermonAudio. The site also helps a few of our people who must be away from us for legitimate reasons for a period of time. They can keep up with the sermons and stay connected with us when they are gone. I also appreciate that every time we have had to connect with you, the help you have given was timely and friendly - you answered our questions or addressed our problems. We are very grateful for your work and service."
We would encourage you to read through more testimonials we've received over the years from both listeners and broadcasters alike.
