Tory MP: Some Conservative Anglicans Are The Same As ISIS

A former vice-chair of the Conservative party has compared some conservative Christians to the militant jihadist group ISIS in an article calling on the Church of England to 'fully embrace the 21st century'.

Michael Fabricant, MP for Lichfield, told the Church 'to take a tough line on its less progressive elements' as he suggested it is time for the worldwide Anglican Communion to split.

'Simply opting for more of the same for the sake of unity amongst a diverse Communion – some of whose views differ little from ISIL – is a choice of quantity over quality,' he wrote in the Telegraph. ...

Absolutely correct Jim; The last REAL Christian in the CofE was J C Ryle and he died in 1900.

"Michael Fabricant, MP for Lichfield, told the Church 'to take a tough line on its less progressive elements'"

And this guy pretends he is a conservative???
Like David Cameron he is more Liberal than true conservative.

On the other hand conservative voters do not have a party to vote for in Britain today because the whole House of Westminster has been infected by the disease, the cancer of Liberalism.

As for the so called "Church" of England their religion is so Liberal that they prefer to accept sin than the Word of God. Thus are they unchristian anyway. I'm sure the abomination would be completely at home in their pews and pulpits.

"Romans 1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,"

May the Lord rebuke them for their false witness.

If the Conservative party in the United Kingdom is in reality liberal then why is it called the Conservative party?

Granted, baldness can be very embarassing for a man, and not all can wear it well, d3oending on the shape of their cranium. I'd probably look like a monster. I'm not saying a man wig is wrong if it helps their self esteem, but within reason. An example of unreasonable, would be your wig collection, Dave. Dreadlocks, red Pippi Longstocking hair with braids, and a purple mullet. No!

To each his or her own, but I often wonder about the aftershock of single men who wear tupees, and the women with wigs, fake eyelashes, contouring, and heavy makeup, etc, etc. when, at some point, they see each other as they truly look, as opposed to what they wanted others to perceive initially to impress. The men look completely different without the rug, and I've seen women who were unrecognizable without all of the added features. Just wondering what goes through the mind.

I had a blessed opportunity to hear John MacArthur speak last Friday night in Lubbock and he preached for 1 hour on the first five words of the Bible . Priceless opportunity and consistently spot on. Our world is like the days of Noah.

I just noticed Jim Lincoln's comment. It is strange how the leftist clergy and lay people, oppose biblical Christianity, but surprisingly seem to have no difficulty with Islam, basically a medieval 7th century Arabian set up, which is totally opposed, I would have thought to everything they stand for. In an Islamic state they would be amongst the first to be executed, or imprisoned, or enslaved, most likely accompanied with forced conversion to Islam, torture, beatings and if female, rape. Not exactly liberal "British values"!!! They want to force sharia law on us, but wouldn't want to live under it themselves!!

This MP was no doubt a supporter of the former Conservative Prime Minister, David Cameron, when he forced through "gay marriage", against his own party but in league with his then coalition partners, the Liberal Democrats, and the Opposition Labour Party, and Scottish and Welsh Nationalists, and Irish SDLP that all supported it.

I bet this MP is probably not a supporter of Brexit, and is no doubt, one of those who supports the secularist "British values" agenda that will force this LGBT agenda on the schools.

Lichfield is a cathedral city, with an impressive Anglican cathedral. In the Cathedral Close, we see part of the problem. The diocesan authorities own a house, in the Cathedral Close, which is now a museum, dedicated to the life and work of its former late 18th / early 19th century occupant, a freethinker called Erasmus Darwin, who is none other than the grandfather of the infamous evolutionist Charles Darwin. He developed his own basic version of evolution, which was no doubt refined and elaborated by his more famous grandson.

John MacArthur on absolutes!
"We live in a world that, for the most part, has no absolute standard for life and behavior. We are under a system of morality by majority vote—in other words, whatever feels right sets the standard for behavior.

"...many people want to live without laws or absolutes. They try to determine their points of reference from their own minds. However, that is impossible. When we move from the physical to the spiritual realm, fixed laws still exist. We cannot exist without laws in the moral and spiritual dimensions of life any more than we can do so in the physical dimension. Our Creator built morality into life. Just as there are physical laws, so there are spiritual laws."

This nincompoop MP is definitely not a Christian! It should be pointed out that liberals in the Church of England are supporters of Islam ]]http://tinyurl.com/js8r2cb (The Archbishop and Sharia).
