‚ÄúLove divine, all loves excelling‚ÄĚ was Charles Wesley‚Äôs description of God‚Äôs love. The very character of God is love. We would never know the nature of true love if it were not for God. ‚ÄúGod is love‚ÄĚ (1 John 4:8). God has ‚Äúloved us with an everlasting love ( Jeremiah 31:3). God‚Äôs love is not motivated by anything we are or anything we have done; rather He loves us because He chose to love us (Deuteronomy 7:7-8). We rejoice that there is nothing that will ever separate us from His great love (Romans 8:38-39). Whenever we doubt God‚Äôs love for us, we simply need to look at the cross (1 John 4:9-10). As we comprehend more of God‚Äôs love for us (Ephesians 3:18-19), we will increase in our love for God and for others (1 John 4:19).
At SermonAudio we are humbled by the ability to serve thousands of broadcasters who preach God’s love for perishing sinners (John 3:16). It’s a delight to hear their feedback about our partnership and how God is at work through it. We enjoy sharing with you each week part of our conversations with them.
SermonAudio is proud to be a partner with FAME as we co-produce a weekly 'audio journal podcast' called Five Minutes of FAME taken from a first-person perspective by Field Leader, Rodney Davidson. Learn more about how to support the work!
But first, some other encouragements!
We were at the Creation Conference this past week on the campus of Bob Jones University in Rodeheaver Auditorium! We had some great freebies including a fantastic little booklet debunking evolution written by the late great George Mulfinger.
Also, this past week we launched a new section on the site called Stories .. a compilation of some very special testimonials and feedback we receive from broadcasters that we hope will be as much a blessing to you as you read through them as they were to us receiving them!
Encouraging broadcaster feedback..
Below is some of the feedback from broadcasters we've received just this past week. We encourage you to contact them and tell them that you saw them here!
Rev. John Shearouse, Covenant Reformed Presbyterian Church www.sermonaudio.com/crpc"I am very encouraged in what SermonAudio does and how it enables us to reach out around the world with God’s Word. I know our people enjoy the site and I have derived much benefit personally. I get calls or emails occasionally from people who have listened to our sermons. One time we were planning to drive out to the west coast. I had some contact from a man in Minneapolis, MN who had grown much in his faith by listening to my sermons but needed assistance in locating a solid church. I happened to know an elder from a church near him. We arranged a dinner with both of these men so I could introduce them to each other. It’s amazing to see the Lord’s providence in making these connections."
Logan Wolf, CrossPoint Church www.sermonaudio.com/crosspointchurch"I am thrilled with SermonAudio! It is meeting our needs and allowing people in our church to hear any message when they miss a service. We upload the sermon each Sunday night, send an email to all members with a link to the message early in the week and then push it to social media a couple of times that week. For a pastor it‚Äôs great. I know pastors put a lot of work into preparing and preaching their messages. I used to think, ‚ÄúIt would be nice if all this preparation could live on.‚ÄĚ And with SermonAudio it does! I recommend SermonAudio to my friends who ask about how we use technology to get the Word out to our people and beyond. Truly appreciate all that you do for us!"
Arthur Thompson, audio tech, CrossPointe Community Church www.sermonaudio.com/stjoegrace"There are so many features available on SermonAudio. It has been and continues to be a good ministry for a lot of congregations. Our congregation really enjoys the site. Thank you for all the work you are doing to provide all you do for us."
Rev. Thomas Yates, Maryport Street Baptist Chapel www.sermonaudio.com/devizes"SermonAudio is a great resource! It is wonderful to have our sermons categorized all in one place and accessible around the world. Our people are now able to catch up easily with the message they missed. What you are doing is great. We really enjoy it. Our ability to reach people is far wider with SermonAudio than any other provider we know."
Ian M. Densham, Droylsden Independent Church www.sermonaudio.com/dic-uk"We are very grateful for the convenience that SermonAudio provides in uploading our sermons. I have been with you for many years with two different churches and also have sermons posted from other lectures I give in other places. We are so grateful for your doctrinal stand also. Keep up the good work in the name of the Lord"
Rob Ernst, Cornerstone Baptist Church www.sermonaudio.com/ipwag"We are excited to share the news that we are now part of SermonAudio. This site is one of, if not the largest, sermon sites out there. We were able to increase our exposure and bring our messages to a wider audience. SermonAudio boasts a high ranking on Google's top search results for audio sermons. You are able to stream from the site, download to your computer or even get the convenient app on your device and have access to all our messages. It's great if you miss a week and want to catch the message or just desire to go back and listen to some of our older messages."
Pastor Les Walthers, Dallas Reformed Baptist Church www.sermonaudio.com/drbc"A church in our area recently closed and for the past couple of weeks a group of people from that church started attending our church. A dear older lady (and I can say that because I am in my 80s) approached me from that group and said, ‚ÄúI have been listening to your sermons for a little while and that is why we started attending here.‚ÄĚ This lady apparently is a loyal listener to SermonAudio. We are grateful for your ministry, even in the way God used you to make this connection between believers!"
We would encourage you to read through more testimonials we've received over the years from both listeners and broadcasters alike.
