Feedback Friday for 02-10-17

“What are you up to these days?” That is a question that friends often ask each other. Have you ever wondered what our Lord Jesus Christ is up to these days?

Among other things, “He ever liveth to make intercession for us” (Hebrews 7:25). As our great High Priest, He is our “advocate with the Father” (1 John 2:1-2). “Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us” (Romans 8:34). Jesus prays for His people—for you and me, just like He did for disciples (Matthew 14:23) and for Peter (Luke 22:31).

We, at SermonAudio, are encouraged to know Christ is praying for our staff. Often as we interact with broadcasters and listeners they too mention that they are praying for us! It’s a joy to pray for pastors and churches who partner with us and to share with you what they tell us God is doing through this site.

SermonAudio is proud to be a partner with FAME as we co-produce a weekly 'audio journal podcast' called Five Minutes of FAME taken from a first-person perspective.

But first, some other encouragements!

A good friend from Africa, Conrad Mbewe, stopping by our booth to say hello to us at the recent G3 Conference. We appreciate you, brother! Listen to his messages on SA!

This past week we endorsed an important new documentary film that seeks to re-affirm the historical Christian position of the literal and historical view of Genesis. Is Genesis History? is scheduled to be shown in about 700 theaters around the country on Thursday, FEB 23 for one day only. Go see it!

“I had the great privilege of seeing a preview of this film recently and was thrilled with the production quality and heart of the team behind such an important venture. I highly recommend this film for your entire family and church family to go watch. Please show them your support!” — Steven Lee, SermonAudio Founder

In my Bible reading this past week, I was struck with this passage in Acts 6:7 where we read that the "word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multipled .. greatly." We all want results. We all want to see souls brought into the Kingdom. What caused such explosive results in Acts 6:7? Read Acts 6:4.

Please consider joining us in NYC on June 22-23.

Encouraging broadcaster feedback..

Below is some of the feedback from broadcasters we've received just this past week. We encourage you to contact them and tell them that you saw them here!

Pastor Ryan Somerville, Covenant Reformed Presbyterian

"SermonAudio was instrumental in me becoming a pastor actually! My best friend and I followed similar life paths away from the Lord but God graciously brought us both back to a more sincere commitment to the Christian faith. My best friend began to look for a church in his area and found one through SermonAudio and started to attend! Eventually I moved back to that area, joined the same church and attended seminary! Our priority as a church is the Word of God so we think it is important to get the Word of God out to as many as we can. SermonAudio is a great tool to help us with this. We are encouraged by how many people are listening to sermons. Our people find the site to be easily accessible. We put our sermons on SermonAudio and it links very easily with our own website and Facebook. Thanks for all you do!"

Travis Burke, Cozaddale Baptist Temple

"SermonAudio is a great opportunity to reach people all over the world. Recently a family from Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates began listening to our messages on SermonAudio. The family heard the Gospel and trusted in Jesus Christ as Savior. They joined a local church there. They have written twice and even sent a gift to our church in deep appreciation for how God used our messages to change their lives. A friend of ours who lives over there visited them and found them growing in their faith! This family continues to listen regularly to our sermons and we are so grateful for what God has done!"

Joshua D. Owen, Cross Creek Presbyterian Church

"We definitely benefit from being on SermonAudio. We minister in a military community. When personnel, who worship with us, are deployed they can easily keep up with the preaching and teaching of the church. Those who are transferred are able to also keep in touch with us because of SermonAudio. I have been on SermonAudio with this church and my previous pastorate and really like the format you offer."

We would encourage you to read through more testimonials we've received over the years from both listeners and broadcasters alike.

Join us, support us, and enjoy!
