Study: 70 Percent of Evangelicals Don’t Believe in Evolution

A recent study has found that 70 percent of American evangelicals do not believe Evolution to be true.

ChristianToday.com reports that the study was conducted by chief research sociologist Elaine Howard Ecklund, Christopher Scheitle at West Virginia University, Jared Peifer at Baruch College, and Daniel Bolger at Rice University. The study is titled Examining Links Between Relgion, Evolution Views and Climate-Change Skepticism.

The study not only found that the majority of evangelicals tend to disbelieve Evolution, but, perhaps surprisingly, a majority of evangelicals also believe that climate change is occurring and/or that humans have a role in climate change. ...

Without the Spirit, Kev, all of these truths we speak to each other appear as gibberish. It is called the dead-in-sin syndrome.

You've no doubt heard that Kenneth Copeland believes that God the Father is around six feet tall and looks just like Adam, because Adam was made in the image of God.

Oh boy!

There are so many people caught up in cults, religious societies and false religions. And it is very sad.

I met some Copeland followers in Somerset, England. One woman was very depressed, but was not permitted by her religion to acknowledge it. She had to confess she was healed - in order to BE healed. Oh, what darkness! I felt very sorry for her. Copeland's grip is very strong. Shortly after I met this group, their young pastor was diagnosed with terminal cancer, given three weeks to live. Because of Copeland, they refused to accept it and all agreed to his healing. He died. And I can't imagine what his last few days were like, with none to comfort him, all telling him he was healed and praising God at his bedside.

Test out your opinion.

Here is a link to the 13 uses of the term footstool which God has defined for us as the earth.

https://www.blueletterbible.org/search/search.cfm?Criteria=footstool&t=KJV#s=s_primary_0_1

It appears that if one were to Read through the 13 and you will see the discussion that surround the usage centers around covenants and not planets.

Tradition, my gospel tracts are gospel tracts. They do not seek to argue their way into the hearts of sinners. Rather, the word of God is capable of bringing sinners to new birth when the Spirit attends upon them. Sinners do not realise the questions they need to ask, so I give them the answers they need to hear. I don't mind a convo with sinners, but will always bring it back to The Cross and The Saviour and The Atonement and The Deliverance From Sin and Death and Hell. Silly arguments of sinners only takes them further away from true repentance, because humility is a front runner for repentance. No man can fault THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. HE is the Incarnate God, currently reigning in heaven and in all the earth, soon to return in judgment and bring all things to a final conclusion. Debating secondary issues is unhelpful, IMHO. But thanks for making your point.

The flood began with a rupture of the earth’s crust that encircled the globe in about 2 hours. For months, escaping subterranean water eroded the rupture to an average width of about 1,400 miles all along its 46,000 mile path—even on earth’s Pacific side. The hydroplates were no longer prevented from moving at least a few hundred miles toward the Pacific side of the earth.

Jesus left this world in bodily form right and we believe He is in bodily form now:

Luke 22:69

69 Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

So Jesus would be in the third Heaven right where God is I like the above part 'right hand of the power of God'.

So when prophets in the past saw God on His throne like here:

Exodus 24:9-11

9 Then WENT UP Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:

10 And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.

They said they saw God but the Bible says no one has seen God at any time.

See John 1:18. So if Jesus is in bodily form (i believe) he is in the Third Heaven he is alive and is at 'the right hand OF THE POWER of God'

Make sure you have one for wise Muslims..

Muslim: Why does the West celebrate Xmas and tell the children lies about Santa Claus.
Christian: I can assure you no true Bible believer has anything to do with Santa Claus or tells lies to children.
Muslim: Yes they do as the local Methodist Church has Carols with father Christmas giving gifts and children wearing Santa hats.
Christian: Ecumenism and apostasy is a long story!
Muslim: Why do Christians celebrate Christ’s birth on December 25th when there is nothing in the Bible about that date? I thought Christians believed their scriptures.
Christian: The cult of the Jehovah’s witnesses don’t celebrate Christ’s birth but Christians certainly do, maybe you are confusing the two.
Muslim: Where in your scriptures is December 25th mentioned.
Christian: Hmmm, it isn’t.
Muslim: So you add tradition to your scriptures.
Christian: The bible is infallible and Christ’s birth is recorded for us in the Gospels.
Muslim: But where does it say December 25th? If it doesn't then are you not lying to people (children) by giving the impression Christ was born on December 25th?
Christian: Hmmm. Our tradition is...
Muslim: So tradition or your Scriptures, which?

Isa 66:1 — Thus saith the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that ye build...

Ac 7:49 Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool:

Heaven is throne...

Look here as the throne\heaven was yet to be established IN MERCY in Isa. 16:5...but throne\heaven was created Genesis 1:1.

Please tell me when the universe was destroyed or rebuilt?

or is it a Covenant?
----
Here is where His Throne was rebuilt.

Isaiah 16:5... in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting righteousness.

In the tabernacle of David...

Acts 15:15-17 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up: That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, saith the Lord, who doeth all these things.

Universe or in the hearts of those who are His?

Amos 9:11 In that day will I raise up the tabernacle of David that is fallen, and close up the breaches thereof; and I will raise up his ruins, and I will build it as in the days of old: That they may possess the remnant of Edom...

Prayers for you Saint John of Wales.

Good enough for me, bro.

Yes the word heaven or heavens has to be looked at carefully, or we might think our eternal destiny is to orbit the planets.

The other things to take into account are the omnipresence of God, and the fact that the spiritual world - being invisible to our eyes - could be all around us.

The Bible says that God is not far from any one of us, even the unbeliever.

Later....... (I'm going tracting).

Hey John here's what I got from bible study tools:

Heaven:
Definitions. The phrase "heaven and earth" is used to indicate the whole universe ( Genesis 1:1 ; Jeremiah 23:24 ; Acts 17:24 ). According to the Jewish notion there were three heavens,
(a) The firmament, as "fowls of the heaven" ( Genesis 2:19 ; Genesis 7:3 Genesis 7:23 ; Psalms 8:8 , etc.), "the eagles of heaven" ( Lamentations 4:19 ), etc.

(b) The starry heavens ( Deuteronomy 17:3 ; Jeremiah 8:2 ; Matthew 24:29 ).

(c) "The heaven of heavens," or "the third heaven" ( Deuteronomy 10:14 ; 1 Kings 8:27 ; Psalms 115:16 ; 148:4 ; 2 co 12:2 ).

http://www.biblestudytools.com/dictionaries/eastons-bible-dictionary/heaven.html

I believe the third Heaven is a spiritual realm and is eternal and that's the angels first estate.

No problem, Frank. I was just commenting on the Pope's unbiblical viewpoint as being nothing unusual for a Pope because being biblical would disqualify him from the office. If I were to question something, I would say the use of conservative Catholic websites that show us what's wrong with the Pope does nothing to show what's wrong with the RCC. If the intent is to make clear the evil of the RCC system, using their sites against the Pope clouds the issue. The Pope is a player in the system, he isn't the system. They come and go, the system remains.
