Feedback Friday for 11-25-16

You have heard the saying, “When you find a turtle at the top of a fence post, you know it didn’t get there by itself." That’s Paul’s point in Ephesians 2:1-10 where he speaks of God’s glorious grace and our utter inability in the salvation of our souls. “For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.” (Ephesians 2:8–9). When you find a redeemed, born-again sinner, you know he contributed nothing to his status.

How do we respond to salvation by grace alone? We should believe it! We should pray that we would see more and more of this grace! This truth will humble us! We should be exceedingly grateful for it! And we should always stand in the grace of God!

We are thankful for broadcasters worldwide who preach God’s sovereign grace on SermonAudio. We enjoy connecting with them and hearing of how God is blessing our partnership with them in impacting lives for eternity. Here’s what some have been telling us recently!

SermonAudio is proud to be a partner with FAME as we co-produce a weekly 'audio journal podcast' called Five Minutes of FAME taken from a first-person perspective by Field Leader, Rodney Davidson. Learn more about how to support the work!

But first, some other encouragements!

It was our privilege to have Dr Richard Phillips, minister of Second PCA, as our guest at our weekly staff meeting. He brought to us an encouraging challenge from Psalm 19 reminding us among other things to guard against becoming "over-professional" in our work but to maintain a devotional quality in what we do.

Instagram user comment: Im well on my way to becoming a theologian, it is through your ministry that i acted on my calling. You are making disciples. Soli deo gloria

Radio Interview! I was interviewed on the radio today to help promote the premiere showing of our documentary film, Mungu Kwanza: God First. I appreciate Kevin Boling of Knowing the Truth for interviewing me. Go listen to the interview now!

Mark it on your calendar! Join us Friday Dec 9 @ 8pm | Stratton Hall, BJU

We are excited to announce the premiere showing of the first documentary film produced entirely by SermonAudio. It tells the stories of the lives changed by the work of FAME Mission in Eastern Kenya.

Encouraging broadcaster feedback..

Below is some of the feedback from broadcasters we've received just this past week. We encourage you to contact them and tell them that you saw them here!

Brad O'Neal, Clear Branch Landmark Missionary Baptist

"We are loving being on SermonAudio. The church joined about nine months ago, so when I came as pastor we were able to get up and running right away. It's great outreach! We are getting a great response! It's working well for us!"

Rev. Ian Goligher, Cloverdale Free Presbyterian

"We are very thankful for the service you provide which makes it possible for us to store our sermons on your site. The feature we value you the most is the ability to webcast our services. You provide a reliable service in this regard and it is vital to our ministry. We have people in northern British Columbia that depend on us to provide this weekly service. We are also grateful for the consistent number of downloads we have each month. We have had a few people come to our church through the years as a result of our presence on your site."

Justin Hoffman, Cincinnati Primitive Baptist Church

"e have been very pleased with your service. It is user friendly for uploading sermons and for people to download them and listen to them. The software works without a glitch. We are delighted that people are able to access our messages. We are very impressed with your service so far and are thankful for it. The price is also very reasonable!"

Pastor Lee Davis, Emmanuel Baptist Church

"I was with SermonAudio at my previous church for several years. When I came to this new work, we signed up for an account. We are very pleased with your service and the ministry you provide. We are thrilled with the outreach it enables us to have and the doors for ministry it has opened others. I have encouraged other pastors about your service and have recommended they sign on as well. Your website is easy to navigate. I have been able to teach others how to upload sermons very quickly. This tool is a great blessing to us!"

Pastor John E. Stoos, Church of the King, Sacramento

"We have been with you for over ten years and really appreciate the services you offer. I really like all the features you make available. The site is easy to use and reasonably priced. It's a joy every month to see where our sermons are being accessed in the world. Thanks for all you do to make this possible. You are always adding new features and upgrading current ones. We are very pleased with our partnership with you."

We would encourage you to read through more testimonials we've received over the years from both listeners and broadcasters alike.

The opening remark on misplaced turtles is on the mark.

Romans 3
19 Now we know that whatever the law says it speaks to those who are under the law, so that every mouth may be stopped, and the whole world may be held accountable to God. 20 For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin.

21 But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it— 22 the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: 23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24 and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, 25 whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith. This was to show God's righteousness, because in his divine forbearance he had passed over former sins. 26 It was to show his righteousness at the present time, so that he might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.---ESV
