Majority of American Evangelicals Did Not Vote for Trump

Based on polling data and news sources, you might be under the impression that an overwhelming number of evangelicals—more than 80 percent—voted for Donald Trump. But this isn’t quite accurate. There isn’t any way to truly know what percentage of evangelicals voted for our president-elect. But using a more nuanced analysis we can reasonably estimate that somewhere between 35 percent and 45 percent of all evangelicals in America voted for Trump.

Hmm, NeedHim, I was really expecting a comment from John Y., about ]]Silvio B. Trump, a shorthand that he doesn't approve of, and would rather have Donald]]"an ignorant, amoral, dishonest and manipulative, misogynistic, philandering, hyper-litigious, isolationist, protectionist blowhard"Trump, which really takes up some space.

But we are in complete agreement on one thing, which I have often pointed out,

John MacArthur wrote:
Many think this is a political problem that will not be solved without a political strategy. During the past twenty-five years, well-meaning Christians have founded a number of evangelical activist organizations and sunk millions of dollars into them in an effort to use the apparatus of politics—lobbying, legislation, demonstration, and boycott—to counteract the moral decline of American culture....

But is that a proper perspective? I believe not. America’s moral decline is a spiritual problem, not a political one, and its solution is the gospel, not partisan politics.

I voted for neither Hilly nor Donnie!

Jim respectfully directed your way, you are misguided on me & what my stance is towards President Elect Trump & my political views; First & foremost, my hope is in Christ alone, & not any political party, or any political person. Only the Blood of Christ can wash away & atone for my sins. Only by the righteousnes of Christ being imputed to one, is the only sufficient means, that can bring-forth a right standing before the Father.

Jim; Hillary, is just as equally deserving of God's judgement to be placed down on her, if she dies, in her unregenerate fallen state. As she has lied reputedly, as she is a Pro-death supporter, could go on more, but my main point is. All have miserably failed & fallen short of missing the mark of Christ glory daily, & all will have to take account for our own lives, most important. Is that ones only hope of reconciliation is here in the now, for having & getting a second chances after death, is misguided false hope amen.

Lanny Davis must be dizzy from the déjà vu.

Davis was a famously stalwart defender of Bill Clinton during the scandals of the 1990s. Little did he know that the excuses and rationalizations made for Clinton then would be repurposed by some of Clinton's harshest and most moralistic critics for a Republican presidential nominee.

Such are the gymnastics that Donald Trump requires of his most loyal evangelical backers. One day, historians will puzzle over how a man representing the mores of a debased celebrity culture became not just the nominee of the Republican Party, but the candidate of the religious right.

Falwell endorsed Trump in the primaries, apparently on the counterintuitive theory that the man with the lowest character in the field who had the least genuine conviction on social-conservative issues would best serve the interests of the religious right.

Gay I listened to that video and that guy gave absolutely no reason for His Donald Trump accusation of being part of the NWO or anything like that. You should be careful not to state everything you see as fact as it is like someone crying wolf and will take away from your witness. When you have facts no one will listen especially if you are looking into matters like this. Also it's not good to make accusations that one doesn't know for sure. That can fall under being a false witness. I like your posting and I have read many of your articles and such but try not to get too carried away with everything you hear but when you get something good by all means pass it on. Here is something you may find interesting Gay just fast forward through the guy speaking and don't mind the commentary too much I'm just pointing out the open ceremony they had for the tunnel. Not suggesting most to watch or watch with caution as it is of an adult occult nature but it shows what some people in power enjoy watching and a lot of occult Satanic symbolism.

Remember to read and pray a lot too Gay especially if your watching all this kind of stuff.

Hi Gay, my last, well, first of all ..thanks. Anyway, my last comment was after giving the whole thing some thought today. This morning, I typed out a paragraph in another thread on a different topic in response to something I didn't like, and something I felt strongly about. My emotions were getting the best of me, and the comment would have caused a stir, for sure. I read my comment over a few times, and deleted it before posting, and am glad I did. The point I'm making is that you're not alone when commenting out of pure emotion at times. I know bits and pieces of your background, so I understand where your mind was at and that you didn't really mean things quite as they sounded...

here is a forewarning, Trump is definitely N.W.O. , i understand this is unpopular and ignored news, i wish that there was some kind of hope i could give, i certainly tried, but it is better you get this news (even if it's just background noise now) and bear it now then have the big disappointment when your'e dropped off a cliff by Trump, they like to take you to the mountain top and while your'e celebrating victory they throw you off ...

SteveR from Mt Zion: It's important to put the whole thread of what I said specifically to Jim about Eschatology & what will keep one out of the kingdom of God.

Jim, one End Times view, doesn't keep one out of the kingdom of God, unless the person, has another Jesus, through another Gospel message, that denies & changes essentials of the faith, Who Christ is, in being the God-man, the Bodly Resurrection of Christ, & so on.

We can have different End Time views, & still be of the House hold of the dearly beloved of the redeemed.

But who we say that Christ is, truly matters, if one has insufficient Christ. Who is another Jesus foreign of who is through His deity. We can't have different views on His Diety, or how Christ has to save the fallen from God, to God. Or how ones justification relies solely on the saving gift of faith & hope, in what only Christ can do for the fallen alone & etc, that makes up key Biblical Orthodoxy doctrines & teachings of the faith amen.

From article;
"we can reasonably estimate that somewhere between 35 percent and 45 percent of all evangelicals in America voted for Trump.""

The trouble with using the term 'evangelical' is the same as using the term Christian, many Christians are not real Christians for example the Roman Catholics, Liberals, nominals, JW's, free-willers and many religious reprobates believe they are Christian and will place themselves under the term evangelical.

The truth is that the Remnant is a very small group and Satan has many followers which he sends to churches.
The Reformers came up with two terms for the church 'visible' and 'invisible' which illustrate that which man sees and identifies as evangelical is vastly different from the reality of that which God perceives as church.

Thus it could be that many of those who voted under the term evangelical could be Liberal therefore not a real Christian. However I would expect the Liberals to vote for Hillary rather than any Republican.

Many Jews didn't accept Christ because he didn't meet their expectations, expectations built upon eschatology. Its the main reason offered for their refusal to believe. They expected a warrior to save them from Rome, not themselves

Luke 23:35   And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God. ..Luke 23:37   And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.

Jim; Salvation will always be of the Lord alone, for their is no true seekers of Christ, without Him, first seeking you first; Rom 3:10-12, Jhn 6:44.

Jim your locality to a leftists mindset, has you blinded, as I shared clearly that both Hillary & President Elect Trump, need Christ, as all who are still spiritually dead, need to taste the regenerating power of Christ, making one to be born again from up above alone amen.

Christ through His Word being shared by one motivated by love & His power of saving truth, that changes & transform ones life, is what truly matters at the end of the day, for all other soil, apart from Christ foundation is sinking sand amen.

Needhim, I don't think I've failed to put this sort of thing on any thread that it was pertinent to,

Jim, what truly makes sin such a act of High Treason, is because of the one who one is sinning against. Is without sin, & utterly Holy, Holy, Holy, as the angles proclaim, that, with full utterance of His glory. For all sin affects the vertical first before it affects the horizontal aspects of ones life.

Making sin to be a infinite crime, against the One & only true living God of the Bible alone.

Jim; Hillary Clinton lost the election & is equally worthy of the damnation, she will face,& President Elect Trump as well also, if Christ doesn't remove her & his spiritual heart of stone away. As the both of them, are in dier need to see & understand why so. They both need Biblical saving repentance in what only Christ, can do for the fallen sinner alone amen.

Trump didn't leave a group of soldiers in a hostile country to die but Hilary has twice. Trump wasn't unde FBI investigation for possible treason and Trump isn't run by anyone but Donald Trump so it would seem that of the two evils we had to face we got the lesser and we should be happy that there isn't a murderer goin into the whitehouse again.

I'm glad the majority of fellow Christians didn't vote for the liar. One should be reminded,

1 Corinthians 6
9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals,
10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, shall inherit the kingdom of God.---NASB

We can only hope that DT takes up a new life style, for his sake and the country's.

So are you saying that hitlary is a saint and sister in Christ? If so you must have lost your mind. I don't look for a savior to come out of Washington but come on man, are you serious? You are the typical democratic voter.
