Trump's Victory Driven by GOP's Pro-Life, Religious Liberty Platform, Study Says
The GOP platform "was the bridge between Donald Trump and Christian conservatives," FRC President Tony Perkins said.

"It was the party platform that brokered the deal between Trump and Christian conservatives – a deal that was sealed in the final debate when Trump vividly described a partial-birth abortion and pledged to appoint pro-life justices," Perkins said in a statement. "The Republican Party platform played a key role in bringing Christian conservatives and Trump together."

The survey draws attention to the fact that Trump's victory was settled by less than 300,000 votes nationwide.

The study also shows that two-thirds of surveyed registered voters agreed that "government should leave people free to follow their beliefs about marriage between one man and one woman as they live their daily lives at work and in the way they run their businesses." ...

On a recent Master's Seminary round table talk, John MacArthur said, he was not voting for Donald J Trump..., but rather was voting against the evil running against Donald J Trump.
Wait, I didn't know John MacArthur allowed anyone one to vote, I mean, isn't he the " evangelical pope"? And, didn't he say," stay home if your a fundamentalist but if your a democrat, vote as many times as you want?". No, oh, them I'm mistaken.
Last Saturday, on the Birkenstock, Chia tea, Starbucks elitists were all snooty about if DJT would concede. Now, look who can't concede, the hapless losers are beating elderly white Trump voters, burning buildings , burning Trump in effigy, and calling for his assignation.
Jim, if your apart of this godlessness, then come out among them, put on your, "render to Cesar his and too God his", shoes you've quoted for three years.
And after all ,God is Sovereign.

That's funny, you appealing to the Scripture. But if you need a verse, it's right next to the verse that says Christians are not to be involved in their government, and close to the verse that says we are to render to Caesar anything he wants.

We have to remember that kings (and presidents) are raised up and set down by God.

It is a blessing in Western countries that we can vote for the president , prime minister, etc., unlike so many other parts of the world.

Whether we like the choice that the US people have made or not, we should now pray for this man, his Cabinet and the Congress, and also for the judges of the Supreme and lesser federal courts.

Paul prayed for the Emperor Nero, the evil man who later executed him, and the Roman government!! We should pray for our leaders, and for a good and peaceful background for the preaching of the Gospel.

At least, we can be thankful that the candidate who threatened to destroy religious liberty and force abortion and homosexuality by federal law on all US Americans did not get in!!

Daniel Pipes wrote:
As columnist Michael Gerson wryly notes, Trump "attacked the Republican establishment as low-energy, cowering weaklings. Now Republican leaders are lining up to surrender to him – like low-energy, cowering weaklings."

Trump is "an ignorant, amoral, dishonest and manipulative, misogynistic, philandering, hyper-litigious, isolationist, protectionist blowhard" in the words of Republican donor Michael K. Vlock. That charming list of qualities means supporting Trump translates into never again being able to criticize a Democrat on the basis of character. Or, in personal terms: how can one look at oneself in the mirror?

Daniel said it quite well some time ago.

Actually the White Romish vote had quite a bit to do with it as well, and one should remember, ]] (Are Roman Catholics Christians?)

Oh, and as far as the popular vote goes, ]] (Clinton's Popular-Vote Lead Will Grow, and Grow, and Grow). -- "Millions of mail-in and absentee ballots haven’t been counted yet. They won’t change anything, though."

John MacArthur wrote:
...the idea that we're supposed to spend our time fighting a cultural war, that is, fighting some war on some...some human power base like lots of people can vote in large blocs or like we can influence politicians or we can lobby, or we can create institutions that uphold public morality. The whole idea of a public morality, of fighting for morality on a sort of an unregenerate level, escapes me as any kind of biblical mandate. The Bible says in 2 Timothy 3:13, “Evil men will get worse and worse, deceiving and being deceived.”
