Newsweek magazine is busily trying to prevent any more issues of a special commemorative edition from being sold after it hit stores Election Day featuring Hillary Clinton on the cover.
“Like everybody else, we got it wrong,” said Tony Romando, CEO of Topix Media, the Newsweek partner that produces special issues for the magazine.
A national recall was issued Wednesday for 125,000 copies of the “Madam President” issue. Retailers were told not to place them on stands until after the election, but at least 17 copies – now almost certainly collector’s items – were sold....
Jim Lincoln from Nebraska writes: "Yes, she did, by some 200,000+ votes"
I wonder how many dead people voted for her? Jim if you don't like it, then move, but please don't beat people up, burn things, defame memorials, in the name of peace and love, it is a wonder to me how violent Clinton supporters have proved themselves to be, and they were the one's saying that Trump was going to destroy America!
"But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whore mongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death" (Revelation 21:8) AV.
Trivia:Republicans captured the majority of the "popular vote" for the House on Election Day, collecting about 56.3 million votes while Democrats got about 53.2 million, according to USA TODAY calculations. With a few races still undecided, Republicans so far hold a 239-193 majority for the next Congress. -- Not that that is anything more than trivia-- -- To argue that Hillary's popular vote # diminishes the legitimacy or decisiveness of Trump's overall triumph is to argue that the rules and constitutional framework -- recognized & agreed upon in advance -- do not&should not, matter. Furthermore, to complain that the electoral college system is 'undemocratic' is to cherry-pick a grievance based on an undesirable result. Those who pledged" Allegience to the Republic "with hand over heart might be expected to know the remnants of what used to be a Republic linger on. Moving toward true mob rule every day - watch them in "Portlandia " hissy fit their views by burning trees damaging cars breaking windows etc. the cops offer a different vote with rubber bullets and flash bang grenades. Riot "votes" are anarchist methods of paid provocateurs using Black Lives matter $oroo$ devices- pure Democracy gets violent quickly. Move On dot org BHO instigated tantrums Community organized.
Jim Lincoln, I voted for the constitution party, my conscience. How can you as a professed believer hitch your horse (you) to the democrat party platform wagon and pull it ? You have cast your lot with the late term abortion murder crowd. True that Trump is not pro life but the court justices he can appoint will be. That alone is reason enough to reject your party. How will your respond on Judgement day when my Lord asks you why you ran with the murder crowd. A fresh spring does not produce salt water. Thank God these babies may have a chance now and our land will quit running in blood.

If our leaders had to copy out the words of scripture , we might get less baseness, and a change - even old guys can turn from bad kings to good as we see in the books of Kings.
1Tim2 exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

It is brazen for them to claim that they had the popular vote when the public is so raw with all of their corruption and exposure that has not been prosecuted. I think they are going to try it, this is what happens when criminals are not prosecuted, they get more and more brazen. ....but if people want to dismantle and destroy this nation, we can live in a shattered nation. Many are trying to pick up the pieces while others want this nation shredded.
If we discount the votes of dead people, votes of ballot box stuffing,(recorded by security cameras) votes of the unidentified, double voting, etc., we need not even entertain the thought that she won the popular vote.
The electoral college system worked as it was supposed to, making sure states with small population centers still had a viable voice in the election of the president.
It also showed that even when you cheat by having votes cast by illegal immigrants, felons, dead people, people voting multiple times, bribing the homeless to vote, machines switching votes, etc. you may win the popular vote but the election is too big to beat the system that way.
Maybe Jim's first criticism of Barack Hussein Obama will be that he helped cost Hillary the election. He did say it was an election about his policies and his legacy. Apparently after 8 disastrous years the American people were ready for a change.
Jim the most aspect is that Christ is in charge, regardless of how much dislike & link posting against, President Elect Donald Trump. For a believer & follower of the Biblical Christ, accordingly to His word, through sound doctrines, that changes & transform ones life, inwardly, affecting, the outterly. We are told to set your affections on matters above; Col 3:1-2. For in no other, is their true peace with in, for without the anchoring of ones, mind, & soul, & spirit, to Christ alone, daily, as Paul reminds, his faithful followers in Romans 12:1-2.
Trump was not my first choice but he was certainly my last choice on tuesday. But time for christians to unite and pray for our new president. If we like him or not we need to act like christ. Please pray for him

The biggest flaw in the electoral college is the winner take all aspect. It would be better to divide according to vote, but within each State. My vote never counts, because NY is knee-jerk liberal.
The US is not a democracy, but a republic. You see in the streets today why we don't have a democracy, which is euphemism for mob rule. The mob doesn't like the choice that was made, and is a living present example of how the mob can indeed be manipulated. Do you think these "protesters" spontaneously decided to march? Unless you want the city-states of the east and west coasts to alone decide who will be president, keep the electoral system.
Will be praying for you Ignominious, what i have decided for my memory problems is to develop a daily schedule and stick to it so that when i "loose it" i will still have my good habits with me, i have worked in a nursing home and have seen how the daily habits stayed with the dementia patients while memory fled.
also saw this daily verse and wanted to share it with everyone as a reminder ...
1 John 2:15-16 [Do Not Love the World] Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world.
Jim. That's an idiotic argument. They both invested in battleground states because those are the rules. They both knew the game ahead of time. He used a portion of the money and won the battleground states. He didn't try to win the popular vote because it's irrelevant. He didn't spend time and money in New York and California. Heck, throw out her 93% in DC and her popular vote is a sliver.

Results of a doctor's lab test may be mixed: GOOD NEWS!- you do NOT have Altzheimer's But- You do test with signs of dementia.,...
Reminds me of Americathon, when desperate President Roosevelt creates a national raffle..,they decide that the only way enough money can be raised to save America is to run a telethon, and hire a TV celebrity to host it.
However, Presidential advisers secretly plots to have the telethon fail so that representatives of the United Hebrab Republic (formed by the merger of Israel and the Arab states) can purchase what is left of the country.,,this film from the 70s will probably will get more air play now that Hitlery can't be mocked by it.
