Kaine cites Genesis 1, pope to support gay marriage
In a speech to America's largest pro-gay lobbying group, Democratic vice presidential nominee Tim Kaine said the Bible buttresses his support of same-sex marriage. And he predicted the Roman Catholic Church eventually will change its mind on the issue, like he has.
Evangelical theologians, however, said Kaine appeared to distort biblical teaching and Catholic doctrine in service of a political agenda.
Speaking Sept. 10 at the annual Human Rights Campaign (HRC) dinner in Washington, Kaine called himself a "devout Catholic" and acknowledged the Catholic Church is opposed to same-sex marriage, according to a video of the speech posted online.
Virginia's junior senator said he formerly opposed legalizing same-sex marriage but recounted a personal conversion on the issue....

I suppose the story isn't over either! God bless you today!
thank you for the links, its important we be informed. I don't know if others have thought of this or not, but once she can throw classified information out there in public, the whole system falls unless it is dealt with. every person who helps out our country would be vulnerable and the whole system including the nuclear arsenal is run by those who cannot trust the leader. there would be divisions like we've never known.
TMC, thanks for the links, its been awhile back, so I thought I'd bring it up here. I was aware that Pence had signed the bill, but then the corporations came in and threatened to shut their state commerce down, so they relented. sounds like the compromise was not good, I have not read it myself to know either way. thanks again.
Mr Kaine , No rational person cares what Romes position is on anything ! The Church of Jesus Christ does not reside in Rome! I urge you and your pope to repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand !

ok Jim, if Trump lies more than Hillary, it is because he actually is out in public. Been nearly 290 days since her last press conference and because she isn't getting her usual $20 million for a speech she rarely makes campaign appearances and keeps them short. You can pretty much tell when she is lying by whenever her lips are moving. For instance, she used the "c" to classify her emails (they have her signature on them) but she claimed she did not know what it stood for. She couldn't even tell the truth about her own grandparents or after whom she was named
No apology from me UPS. I didn't call her a liar. I called Donald Trump a liar, and a chronic one at that.

t's become a familiar situation this election cycle: Trump once again making an outrageous claim or questioning easily confirmable, widely accepted facts, then spinning an alternate reality that better matches his message – even if it undermines his credibility with voters and the press, or contradicts his earlier stances.

sc, still no apology for the false accusation of saying that ladybug called you a liar. She hasn't used the word in her last 100 posts with the exception of one time and that was just to reference what you said.
It does not seem that you can find it in yourself to admit you wronged ladybug. Ladybug is correct to offer unconditional forgiveness regardless. You would think as often as you tell people they are falsely accusing you (even when they aren't) and how it offends you that when someone points out that you did that to them you would be very forward to show contrition and sorrow for your actions.
May I suggest sister sc that you go before the Lord and ponder Matthew 5:23,24
This is not what about so and so or shifting the blame to someone else. Her 9/11 post clearly stated, "when you call those for whom Christ died, "wicked" (a word you hadn't used in a post for over a month) and she also referred to you in the third person. For you to say you didn't know she wasn't writing the post to you shows your lack of attention to detail and how you jumped to conclusions without thinking. (which also, btw, says a lot about the way your think and how you feel) It started as an honest mistake. May God guide your steps to paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
sc rather than obey Scripture and seek forgiveness, you continue in your usual mode. You falsely accuse, you judge, and you speak untruths.
NO ONE has condemned anyone. Where did I state anybody was going to hell?!? Examining fruit is a far cry from condemnation. You really are a piece of work.
Now, how do you know if Jim lies or not? How do you know all the links he posts are free from lies and propaganda? You don't; so, you have taken it upon yourelf to state Jim has no beam in his eye - even though he supports the liberal agenda, never speaks plainly about abortion, and condones homosexual marriage by the fact that he speaks in favor of the Democratic party. You go to great lengths to cover over your own agenda, even speaking favorably of one who upholds what God hates. Interesting.....
Ladybug,I figured it was of no effect since you had already numbered me with those who are condemned in a prior thread. I would think that condemning one to Hell is more serious than a reasonable misunderstanding when material was deleted by which left the only conclusion one could draw. I'm so sorry I misunderstood who you were accusing on that post. Apparently,it wasn't me, whom you have already condemned in a previous post. While it's true that all have sinned,we are to judge the actions of those who are in sin...if Jim doesn't lie,he may judge those who lie. He doesn't have a beam in his own eye then.
Strange, Ladybug, you accuse me of what everyone on this thread do? If you don't like the political comments that are on political threads, what are you doing on them?
Just how often have I pointed out? (I would guess st least 10 times?)

There is plenty of evidence that Trump lies more than Hillary, (See my message before this one) but should either do it? --of course not.
Ladybug, it's up to every voter to determine the fitness of a political candidate!

But the Republican candidate is at least as saddled with controversy as Clinton is—and while many of the Clinton cases involve suspicion and shadowy links, many of Trump’s are fully documented in court cases and legal proceedings.
I made no reference to you, but just like Moore and Mohler I made reference to Trump, whose actions are documented
