Tim Kaine Attempts to Reconcile Catholic Faith with LGBT Support
Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Tim Kaine recently gave a speech in which he said his Roman Catholic faith is not at odds with his support of gay marriage.
The Virginia Senator spoke at the Human Rights Campaign’s annual Washington, D.C. dinner. According to The Christian Post, in his speech, Kaine referenced Genesis 1 to argue that his support of LGBT rights does not conflict with Scripture and his Christian faith.
Kaine also stated that he believes the Catholic Church’s stance toward gay marriage will eventually change....
Technically it is true that the Democratic VP Candidate Tim Kaine is out of line with the official RCC teaching on abortion, marriage and homosexuality, and probably euthanasia as well, as expressed in the latest Catholic Church Catechism of 1994 as drawn up by Pope John Paul II and his successor, Pope Benedict XVI when he was Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger.
However, as any real Traditional Catholic will tell you, including those who support the Tridentine Latin Mass, this present Pope Francis is very much a loose cannon, and so are many of the US and European bishops, who officially support the RCC Catechism, but actually speak out of the side of their mouths and really agree with Tim Kaine and his Democratic Party.
The few RCC bishops in the Western World who hold on genuinely to the Catholic doctrines, are generally sidelined, and are an irritation to Pope Francis and his establishment, though he will make traditionalist noises from time.
This is why, as I said elsewhere, genuinely Evangelical Protestants, have to witness to and oppose the RCC Church on 2 fronts, the liberal Vatican 2 style church, similar in many respects to liberal mainstream Protestantism, and then the more Traditionalist RCC which is faithful to the Catholic Catechism, plus those Tridentine Latin Mass
....make a great vp candidate, how is the Christian different from the world? NOSEM seems to take the humble quiet nice guy approach, which in reality is how many "religious" people behave. Like the keeping the peace approach where you hear people say stuff like "you know that mormon/jw/buddhist/hindu guy on staff, he's so well behaved and quietly spoken, he never stirs up wrath or talks about stuff like abortion or homosexuality like the Christians do. Man if I ever became I'd want to be like him." The Christian is supposed to speak up and shine a light dark crevices, not keep his mouth shut or use watered down words.
NOSEM has also posted great biblical advice so I'm not launching some kind of attack here.
"Wayfarer Pilgrim from Lubbock,tx writes: Tim Kaine has got to be the most effeminate man running for office. But then Hillary only has Nancy boys working for her."
I can't see anything wrong with your comment or anything to apologise for. You've spoken the truth. The Word says the effeminate won't inherit the Kingdom of God. The mans obviously a deceived deceiver and the use of the term nancy boy provides a solid description of his mannerisms and behavior. This is much needed for those of us outside the USA because all we hear about is how wonderful hitlery is and how stupid trump is. The vp candidates get mentioned once and then we hear little more. The term nancy boy also shows this is an unbiblical union where the woman wears the pants (suit) and the men follow along with no power or authority.
As ive said before about that posters comments, closing our mouths does no good. People will perish because the Christians sat back and wouldnt speak the truth to wake a dying world. Christ offended us with his law and drew us to him because it was obvious we were lost and His Word was the only thing with any truth in it. If a Christian is at work and every time Tim Kaines name comes up the Christian goes quiet or agrees with everyone else that he's a great guy and would m
By the way, totally agree John L. God provided His Word for every single one of us. His Word is our guide for this life, and life eternal. I'll use the same word...staggering, because it's staggering that when it comes to the most important thing, eternal life, and what God Himself wants and needs us to know, so many place their hope for Heaven into the hands of mere men and alignment with a church. Really tragic.

I appreciate your contributions, brother. And I understand all too well that our worldviews and the way we express them are largely shaped by our life experiences. Ne need to apologize. You provide a much needed counterbalance to Jim from Lincoln. But praise God that He sent His Son into our lives to overcome the darkness we have all experienced in life. Your moniker is well stated.
Heb 11:3 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

John Y., you're quite correct, the Romish Church will never change. It's about as hypocritical of an organization that can be found, e.g., ]]http://tinyurl.com/hs3yvm7 (Abuse Tracker) or ]]http://tinyurl.com/jyeqozv (Should Roman Catholicism really be classified as a Christian religion? -- No.) or ]]http://tinyurl.com/zls25lc (Exposing the Heresies of the Catholic Church: The Pope)---Charles Spurgeon said, "Popery anywhere, whether it be Anglican or Romish, is contrary to Christ’s gospel! And it is the Antichrist, and we ought to pray against it! It should be the daily prayer of every believer that Antichrist might be hurled like a millstone into the flood and sink to rise no more. If we can pray against error for Christ because it wounds Christ, because it robs Christ of His glory, because it puts sacramental efficacy in the place of His atonement and lifts a piece of bread into the place of the Savior, and a few drops of water into the place of the Holy Spirit, and puts a mere fallible man like ourselves up as the Vicar of Christ on earth—if we pray against it because it is against Him—we shall love the persons though we hate their errors!..."
Kaine does not read the Bible or he would know that both the Old and New Testaments state homosexuality is an abomination and that homosexuals will spend eternity in Hell. Kaine is totally deceived by Satan into believing the lie that homosexuality is not an abomination. Kaine should be told by his Bishop to either fall inline with Catholic teaching and be against homosexuality, abortion and artificial birth control or be excommunicated from the Catholic Church. Kaine has to be totally off of his rocker if he thinks the Catholic Church will ever change and support homosexuality, abortion, artificial birth control and the ordination of women priests. The Catholic Church will never change and support those evil things.
