Muslim-American groups are applauding President Barack Obama's nomination of a Washington lawyer to serve in U.S. District Court — a move that could make him the first ever Muslim-American federal judge, according to advocates.
If confirmed, Abid Riaz Qureshi would sit on the District of Columbia's federal bench, the White House announced Tuesday. Qureshi, who graduated Harvard Law School in 1997, is a partner in the D.C. office of Latham & Watkins LLP, specializing in healthcare fraud, securities violations, and cases involving the False Claims Act, according to a White House statement....

Pure insanity stating that voting for a third party candidate for president would take votes away from the Democratic Party. Voting for a third party candidate for president would take votes away from the Republican Party. And it is pure insanity to state that the Republican Party is as corrupt as the Democratic Party. The Republican Party platform is against abortion and homosexuality whereas the Democratic Party supports those.

The third party candidate was put there to shift votes away from trump. Now if you think it's going to be better with Hillary as president then you deserve to continue to lose everything. With her you are going to get the same if not worse policies that obama is pushing. So I'm going to hold my nose and vote trump in order to slow down the decay of our society. I pity anyone blind enough to vote for hillary. She should be on trial for Benghazi alone nevertheless the other vast crimes she has committed.

It is a waste of time to vote for a third party candidate for president since a third party candidate for president stands zero chance of winning. And voting for a third party candidate for president is just giving votes to Clinton. Would you rather have Clinton in the White House over Trump? Trump has stated he would appoint justices to the Supreme Court and other courts who are against abortion and homosexuality would reverse all of Obama's evil policies.
The way I look at it, Obama and Clinton have proven they are tyrannical. They will break the law and have broken the law. They will make bad deals with our enemy. Look no further than 33 billion that has gone to Iran since 2014-2016. Clinton is a horribly maladjusted policy wonk who abhors everyone but the usual subjects. Trump, as craven as he is, has yet to be proven tyrannical. That's where we are, but that is because of the moral decline in our nation and because of our financial bankruptcy that has led to the inability be fix problems long term. Our shift leftward is why nations collapse.

Christopher, If you feel you can't vote for Trump and want to vote third party, The New American magazine dated September 5, 2016 has various articles about all the candidates including third party candidates. If I was going to vote third party, I'd vote for Darrell Castle/Scott Bradley on the Constitution Party ticket. I think you'd find their positions more in line with your beliefs than the pro-abortion Libertarian Party.
I've voted third party 5 times in the past and every time for the Constitution Party candidate although the first time it was officially called the US Taxpayers Party. I had a clear conscience before God because I was not voting for the lesser of two evils, but did any of these candidates win? No. Until enough Americans are willing to vote third party, it is nothing more than a protest vote to the republicrat (two-party) system. At this time, Trump is the only way I see to stop Hillary and bring about some real change.
Federally sanctioned sharia law will be a disaster for everyone. And quess what, you won't have to worry about those terrible value voters with sharia law , they'll either be taxed to death or simply put too death.

Ahh the takeover of America continues in gradual process. I thought it would be a takeover by the Liberal-socialists after the Democrats began their campaign to rule America with a one party system such as Russia does. But knit in the growing (moderate) Muslim hordes and we see a very dangerous future for the "Land of the Free???"
Oh I forgot to mention - If ISIS is part of Obama's Foreign Policy then perhaps the Local muslim takeover in America is a part of that ideology at home. I wonder if Hillary will continue this program?
Care to try again, guess, Presidents will most likely follow their inclinations especially politically when making judicial appointments, probably the reason we got so many Catholics during the Episcopalian Bushes' administrations.

While we were criticizing Johnson here, he gaffe'd bigtime on MSNBC this AM with...
What is the Lords reason behind this thorn? Is it to himble this nation as a whole? Is it to call the prideful to be humble? Whatever the reason the answer is that His grace is sufficient for His church. What might seem so bad that we need to resort to a fleshly rememedy. The reminder should be that The Lord is in total control and will not allow anything to happen that is outside His will. His grace is sufficient and His Will is perfect. Lord help us to cling to Your Word for all of the answers as we might need to be tried with fire in order to be made pure. To be a called out assembly for Your honor and glory!

As of September 6, 2016, the total number of Obama Article III judgeship nominees to be confirmed by the United States Senate is 329, including two justices to the Supreme Court of the United States, 55 judges to the United States Courts of Appeals, 268 judges to the United States district courts, and four judges to the United States Court of International Trade. The number of nominations currently awaiting Senate action is 55. There is currently 1 vacancy on the Supreme Court of the United States, 12 vacancies on the United States Courts of Appeals, 75 vacancies on the United States district courts, two vacancies on the United States Court of International Trade and 13 announced federal judicial vacancies that will occur before the end of Obama's second term.
How Liberal Judges Took Control of 70 Percent of US Appeals Courts
When Obama entered the Oval Office, liberal judges controlled just one of the 13 circuits of the U.S. Court of Appeals. Fifty-five successful presidential nominations later, liberal majorities now control nine of those appeals benches, or 70 percent.

and if you disagree with him you are a racist! wants mandatory vaccinations, carbon tax on americans, supports BLM
....just another leftist snowflake.
this election is a choice between globalism (satan's unifying the world in a system that kills Christians and any Christian values, eugenics, ISIS jihad) and nationalism (God gave us nations and borders, being borderless is akin to prostitution)

Gary Johnson is for TPP, he's a globalist and there to stop trump from being elected, because his platform is in stark opposition to the globalist agenda.
The border patrol association came out in support of Trump, not Johnson. They want Trump because they don't want drug cartels running the borders anymore.
A large number of retired generals and high ranking military have come out in support of Trump, because they want to stop ISIS and they were always against the neocon empire wores that put their boys in harm's way for someone's bank account.
Gary Johnson will not be elected, but if he did he would continue outsourcing our jobs by giving sovereignty to corporations. As we are in a depression already and millions out of work, millions of "soup kitchen" ebt cards, these things they don't want us to think about, and illegals and foreigners taking jobs that are in the US, it would continue to fulfill the warnings of our founders that a people can be made countryless in their own country. a people with no representation.
"America First" not a slight against God, its a slight against globalists who are forcing a north American union by open borders, forcing sodomy through policies, same as le pen, firage and the nation-loving people of Europe to stop sharia takeover.
It's always interesting how liberals celebrate diversity when someone from a different honeland who has the power to take away their freedoms gets voted in. If someone who's worldview was formed by the speaking of a demon to a man who later became a paedophile and ruthless murderer, I Would be quite concerned...not celebrating
