Trump's Meeting With Evangelical Leaders Marks the End of the Christian Right
I attended the very first meeting of the Moral Majority held in Indianapolis in February of 1980. I was the Washington state director of the MM and have been a leader of the "Christian right" ever since.

Today an estimated 1,000 evangelical leaders are making a pilgrimage to Trump Tower to "listen" to Donald Trump.

The organizer of this meeting came to my office to tell me in person why I wasn't being invited. I had been too vocal in my anti-Trump views.

I appreciated his courtesy in coming to me and he agreed that the obvious implication of the meeting was to rally support for Trump. ...

Sister Andrea, I have had some spiritual breakthroughs this week that were totally unexepected and I want to thank everyone for their prayers.... the Lord has His will which is greater than what we may want. we are still in the middle of the issues, but the Lord also opened another door for improvement that was unexpected..... so we are still in the thick of it, and said person is holding back from the way of help, this is our greatest need right now, is for calm and quiet trust, this is not something that I can give, but the Lord gives! Still praying for recovery, thank you!

How will Brexit affect you all if I may ask?

Well now this would certainly be good news, maybe SA will carry the story, but James Dobson is saying Trump "has accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior."

Will have to see if that bears out, IMHO, at this point it would not necessarily make him a better candidate to pick but it should change the way he campaigns if it is indeed true.

I'm glad the writer of this article let me in on the secret that he was the leader of the Christian right. All this time I was under the impression that Jesus Christ was head of the church. And I seem to remember Him telling us the gates of hell would not prevail, so I think it will survive a Trump presidency. After all, it has survived the current reprobate-in-chief and his anti-christ agenda.

"Trump's Meeting With Evangelical Leaders Marks the End of the Christian Right"

Can this come out right for Christians? I don't see how, not in the long run. It smells like a collaboration with the kingdom of this world.

What evangelicals are doing now would have been totally unthinkable as recently as the Carl F. Henry era. Shame!

What realistically speaking will this compromise gain? Is this really how far the Church of Jesus Christ is willing to descend for a dubious gain? God help us!!

Very Grateful to Dr. Farris for all his hard work over the years- HSLDA, Making Homeschooling legal in all 50 states and now working around the world, the RFRA legislation that enabled Hobby Lobby to win their case last year, Patrick Henry College, The National Bible Bee, Convention of States, the Parental Rights Amendment, and teaching Constitutional Law on the side! I seriously doubt he views the fact that he was involved in the MM from the beginning makes him “self-righteous”. It does not seem wise to me to extrapolate too much from the “tone” of one sentence in an Op-Ed piece- at least, that’s not how I would like to be judged.
From what I understand, and as a outsider, I think Brexit is a great victory for Freedom from the UN Globalist mentality! It’ll be a little rocky in the financial sector for a while- but I think greater liberty is worth the cost. “Britons never, never, never, will be slaves”!
The BBC called the vote just minutes before midnight EST which is when these stories were posted, so that likely explains why there is no story on it.

I do not see the separatists movement in Scotland as a good thing at all. I'm afraid that England will find markets with Russia and China is its most desperate hour. Putin has been given a gift and will push other nations to do the same. Look for this to effect us, secessionist view as well. I tend to go all out for being for states rights. However, our enemies will dance in the street if we as a nation determine to be separated as individual states into individual countries. Russia is trying to cobble together the old Soviet Union. Anything to collapse NATO is a great thing for Putin.

I dunno how great a victory this is considering their currency was punished by 10%. That type of haircut might be what message the NWO people wanted to send

Yes Jim, you are correct. The SNP has got quite a stranglehold politically on Scotland and we have become a one party nation which is dangerous as Russia and China show. The SNP gained many of its voters recently from the socialists - the Labour party - Which is quite strange since back in the 1950's/60's they were called the Tartan Tories for obvious reasons.

SNP if it gets its way will destroy Scotland there is only 5 million people here with half of them paying taxes because the other half are too old, too young etc, we could become a non-entity with not much part to play in the world, and very little funds to build the nation with. Especially now the oil industry has died.
