I remember growing up and seeing the smut magazine racks rightn on the store counters and in your face fkr young and old to see. Nobody thought anything of it. I think the contrast and todays hipocrisy is interesting. Put that same rack out today and you'd have the neighbors enraged that little Billy and Sally were being exposed to something so offensive. Yet, they seem blind to what's even worse all around them, don't monitor what their kids are looking at, having porn at their little fingertips, adult toys in shop windows for all to see, and almost x-rated bodys and situations on billboards and TV. The list goes on, but the point is that it's everywhere we look.
Sadly this is all to true. It's everywhere. You'll come across it when you search for something innocent on amazon or eBay or the likes. You'll, unfortunalty, see it when you read articles, even on some "christian" sites. The internet is a good tool but can definitely be misused. Accountability is highly recommended. Not just for children but couples should hold one another accountable as well.of course, it doesn't stop at the keyboard. The world is full of it, its at the magazine rack where you stand while waiting to check out at the grocery store, etc, etc. These things really disgust me and make me irate. I'll just stop here as there's no use in preaching to the choir.
I know of a family where internet is odf limits for the kids. Internet not on in the house. On parents cell that has a pass code. Kids do not have their own cell phonem. When kids need info for assignments mom and dad search and get handout for the kids to pick and choose from. My opinion....I agree with this approach. Once kids see porn and graphic violence it is in their memory and fodder for Satan and his minions to mess with them. TV is bad too. Gay is everywhere and the commercials are vile.
