We'll target Britain, says Islamic State video showing Paris attackers
A video published on Sunday by the media center of Islamic State purportes to show images and last statements of nine of the people who took part in the Paris attacks that killed 130 people on November 13.
Reuters could not independently verify the authenticity of the footage, which shows the men delivering anti-Western diatribes and concluded with an apparent threat to attack Britain.
The French Foreign Ministry declined to comment on the video. There was no immediate comment from the prime minister's office, and Reuters was not immediately able to reach officials at the Interior Ministry....

Sadly this true I have yet to meet someone my age who fears the Lord and keeps His commandments. Very discouraging at times. That's not tooting my own horn....but for the grace of God there go I.

A few examples of God's providence in WWII: * The Dunkirk evacuation * During the Battle of Britain - the Germans shifting their focus from attacking the RAF to bombing of cities (thus saving the RAF) * Hitler had to delay his invasion of Russia one month in order to bail out Mussolini's invasion of Greece. * The US carriers not being in port during the attack of Pearl Harbor * The failure of the Japanese to capture Midway island * The failure of the Japanese to destroy the invasion force at Leyte Gulf
I am afraid, dear brother, that my grandfather's generation was a bit more God fearing than my generation or the current generation. I see a lot of Chamberlains, but I don't see any Churchills. We may not fall from enemies without, but we may fall from rot within.

Thanks bro. It's the same the world over, so maybe this judgment is ushering in the end time just before Jesus returns to take his people to heaven forever.

Gods judgment of our nation as been slowly unfolding since the end of the last world war, we have brought it upon ourselves and unless there is a great turning back to Christ it will only continue.
I hear what you're saying bro. But how can there be a "great turning back to Christ" when repentance is a gift from God towards his chosen people? The lost, secular world in the UK are already under judgment, and that accounts for probably 95% of the population.
Now I realise that I do not have much discernment when it comes to historical interference from the Almighty, but surely judgments are always for a purpose. Are you thinking that God is shaking the church, that is, his people? If so, well he is doing that all the time for our sanctification.
John UK there are apparently two million Muslims in the UK of which 25% claim to support ISS that's 500 thousand people in the UK, there here and more are coming to the UK and across Europe, and they are converting people. Islam is growing but Christianity is in decline. They don't have to use violence just have more children and get more converts. Well bro, there were people saying the same thing about the Nazis until Germany was smashed to pieces and had to rebuild from scratch.
I don't think lone gunmen killing a hundred people at a rock concert would constitute God's judgment against a country for apostasy. He does things on a much grander scale.

John we must never lose sight of the hand of God in what is unfolding in Europe and the UK. It might just be that Islam is the means by which the Most High is going to judge an apostate people and church. But the true church will be redeemed through such judgment. Isa 1:27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness. Rom 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are called according to his purpose. So what ever they are planning even if they succeed our God still reigns for the good of his people and they are fulfilling Gods purpose and will.
