Shocking Findings in Pornography Study
A meta analysis of 22 separate studies from seven countries claims to have found a tie between pornography consumption and sexual aggression, yielding significant associations between smut and both verbal and physical aggression.

The study results, which were published in an article in the Journal of Communication, titled, “A Meta-Analysis of Pornography Consumption and Actual Acts of Sexual Aggression in General Population Studies,” are certain to add to the debate over the negative impact of porn.

“Consumption was associated with sexual aggression in the United States and internationally, among males and females, and in cross-sectional and longitudinal studies,” reads the abstract. “Associations were stronger for verbal than physical sexual aggression, although both were significant. The general pattern of results suggested that violent content may be an exacerbating factor.” ...

We also experience today the crimes of sexual perversion such as adultery, homosexuality, paedophilia, rape and living in sin, all are on the increase. Reprobate mankind is walking towards hell and following Satan's path. The increase also seems to coincide with the death of the church and the increase of Liberalism in the churches.

Mike, you hit it on the head. We are being inundated with sensuality. If I am watching tv and a victoria's secret commercial comes on do I have to guard my heart? Yes, of course I do because sensuality is all around. It's not just hardcore pornography we have to be care about it's the everyday pornography that is on tv. Even when I check my yahoo mail after I log out I will sometimes see provocative pictures on the main yahoo screen. Jesus help me and other men who are wanting to live holy.

In addition to above great messages
Kevin Swanson recent show is helpful

"The problem of pornography has metastasized in the
modern world. Almost 80% of professing Christian
young men (18-30 years of age) and 64% of Christian
men (40-52 years of age) are addicted, per recent
Barna numbers. This is exponentially worse than the
1950s and 1960s, for many reasons. The
depersonalization, the intensive self-centeredness,
and the easy access is unprecedented in human
history. However, there is freedom to be found from
the bondage of this blight. Kevin Swanson interviews
Dr. Heath Lambert, author of a new book entitled
"Finally Free", on a fresh approach to dealing with
porn."
The cancer metastasizes and needs treatment.
Good analogy- various means to cut out , poison, irradiate and block it are presented

One would need a blindfold in this world to avoid "porn" because it runs the gambit from innocent clothing ads on tv or magazines to the most vile images from the pit of hell. Reprobates are probably going to be more inclined to be drawn to the most vile material. Nice guys who have weak moments the more tame fare. Lust is simply part of the sinful human condition. Frankly I think these studies are not taking this "jerk factor" into account. Christ knows our struggles. Repentance is a turning away, a change of direction. Yet we will inevitably drift off course from time to time. Never give up the fight!

Ps 16
"Practice the Presence of God"

1Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust.

2O my soul, thou hast said unto the LORD, Thou art my Lord: my goodness extendeth not to thee;

3But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.

4Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.

5The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: thou maintainest my lot.

6The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

7I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.

8I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

9Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope.

10For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.

11Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

Pornagraphy allows the demonic to take hold. Christian need to be ever vigilant against in dwelling sin. Porn places you on a shelf with no good use to God. Pray like never before if your trapped and plead with the God of heaven to shatter this sin in your life. The damage to the spirit, your relationship is horrifying. But in Christ is your victor.

Porn is gross and it's the height of depravity. The things that men and women will do is shocking and disturbing to say the very least. I don't know if it's even possible to have a normal relationship with someone who is addicted to, or even views porn because I would think they would become numb to normal relations and probably not even be satisfied with one or the same person.
I've never been into it, not even before I was saved. Sure, I looked a few times but cringed at the things I saw. Such wickedness.

I would also say these finding were shocking. I have always wondered why serial murderers of women and rapists have said they were addicted to pornography at a young age, and now I know. Okay, sarcasm aside, I will say that pornography is one of the worst evils in this world and destroys more lives and marriages than most of us will ever know. At a minimum, it causes men to look upon women as objects to be used instead of as fellow humans who were created in the image of God. It destroys more marriages, “is the primary” cause of rape and abuse, destroys the lives of men and women, and should be avoided by any God fearing man.

I enjoyed all of the below comments!

"seven countries claims to have found a tie between pornography consumption and sexual aggression,"

Sin begets sin.

A little leaven leavens the whole lump.

James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.
15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

Dr. David Greenfield, assistant clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and director of the Center for Internet and Technology Addiction, also told VICE last year that the portion of the brain used to make decisions based on morals and values can essentially shut off when a person views smut.

Greenfield told VICE that the prefrontal cortex — the area where personal decisions are made in light of morals and values — is essentially cut off during viewing, with the desire to see porn so strong that it supersedes any feelings or cautions someone might have that would potentially hold them back from partaking.

Additionally, a 2014 study analyzing porn use among young men also found that those who consume it are potentially less likely to get married, seemingly adding credence to Zimbardo’s claims.

Porn means EVIL

Zimbardo claimed that young men’s brains are becoming “digitally rewired” due to excess video game and porn consumption — a social “crisis” that he believes parents and the public must address.

Zimbardo, whose book “Man (Dis)connected” argues that “It’s a new kind of addiction.”

Mesmerizing madness.

Gotta feel sorry for these poor statisticians and their study results. An hour or less in the presence of God would yield more knowledge than they could ever imagine.
