The collapse of American education continues
Many Americans are aware that the nation's public education system is bloated, expensive and incompetent, turning out millions of high school graduates who can't read, write or speak well, cannot accurately recite U.S. history, and know very little about civics and government. As a result, more and more Americans are pulling their children out of public schools and either placing them in private secular or religious schools or home-schooling them.

That hasn't traditionally been the case for wealthier Americans, however. For years, most of them have avoided sending their children to public schools, opting instead to send them to pricey, exclusive private schools where they presumably received better educations than their public school counterparts.

All of that seems to be changing now. As reported by CNBC, the wealthy are increasingly pulling their kids out of private schools and opting instead ...

Mike, most of the Republican candidates aren't doing that well. It seems that two governors have dropped out, Walker and Perry, probably both completely hostile to Common Core So, even if Kasch and Bush aren't doing well doesn't mean their support for school standards is entirely the fault.

Remember a Republican has to push totally irrational ideas such as being anti-vaccination to win. So, that's why there will be --most likely-- another Democratic President, the general thinking populace will consider the Republican candidate just too wacko to be President. The "Moral Majority," even turn Christians off,

Soteriology="2. (Theol.) The doctrine of salvation by Jesus Christ."

' "The Reconstructionist movement and its allies and offshoots, by substituting political and cultural action for the proclamation of the Gospel, by substituting eschatology for soteriology, and by mangling the Gospel itself, have become tools of Romanist political action" (3/02, The Trinity Review).' excerpt from, ]]Notes on Reconstructionism.

Ah but the people know better that this. Maybe it's why Kasich isn't doing so well in his run for president?

Pubic education's complex issues are the exorbitant cost due to a centralized, unionized, over paid administrators and a testing racket that produces a cookie cutter approach to educating your children. Prepackaged testing standards is probably the largest reason students are not performing well in public education. Another reason is there are no standards for a parents need to be involved in their own child's education. You've got gramma, mi Tia, my older sister or my step dad who is the only responsible adult in the broken mess of a family and the idea that having a good responsible education is not a respectable way of life for more people than we would like to admit. Either hold your teacher and school board to a high standard or find someone who will or do it yourself.

The Bible clearly lays the education of our children squarely on the shoulders of the parents. Not even Sunday school is a biblical practice. Most kids go to school to play and to churches for more of the same. Gone are the days of parents raising children in the fear and admonition of the Lord. Now they're spoiled and entertained... Following a man made Jesus.

Article says;
""education system is bloated, expensive and incompetent, turning out millions of high school graduates who can't read, write or speak well""

God does not bless a nation who rejects HIM and His laws and doctrines.

All authority comes from God. If the education "authority" is no longer working for America on its future generations - Then God is sending them a message.

"visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me"

Ah, those poor wealthy parents, decisions, decisions!!! Private schools are stopping accepting a lot of these kids (brats?) for a variety of reasons so now they have to home tutor. Oh, the suffering!
