At American University's freshmen orientation, students were instructed to introduce themselves by name, hometown, and "gender pronoun."
That's right, orientation leaders welcomed freshmen to campus by asking them to participate in the radically progressive ritual of informing new people of which gender they "identify" as.
When AU freshman Tristan Justice, a Young Americans for Freedom leader, questioned this instruction, his orientation leader responded, "Here at AU, we donâ€™t like to make assumptions about peopleâ€™s gender."
