Sen. Bernie Sanders, the self-described socialist who’s taking the Democratic polls for president by storm – rapidly closing the gap with frontrunner Hillary Clinton – is now heading to the faith-based Liberty University to give platform remarks.
Liberty, founded by Jerry Falwell, is the site where Sen. Ted Cruz kicked off his campaign for president.
And it’s certainly a school where students and administrators hold views more in line with Cruz’s than with Sanders. But Sanders said in a statement reported by Mediaite he received an invitation, and has accepted, despite the likely clashes of politics and culture....
