Evangelicals and Muslims Gang up on Franklin Graham

An evangelical pastor from Texas joined American Muslim leaders Thursday (July 23) in denouncing recent anti-Muslim comments by evangelist Franklin Graham as they announced upcoming efforts to build bridges between their religious communities.

In response to the killing of five service members in Chattanooga, Tenn., last week, Graham, son of evangelical leader Billy Graham, wrote on Facebook that the U.S. should bar Muslims from immigrating.

"I was so sad when I read the Facebook posting of Franklin Graham," Bob Roberts Jr., pastor of NorthWood Church in Keller, Texas, said Thursday at a gathering on Capitol Hill. "This is not 'evangelical' and even less evangelistic. I don't want American Muslims to think we fear them or that they are our enemies." ...

As curious suggests "...The words we speak are spirit and life, just as Christ spoke."
It would seem that curious is in agreement with Lisa.
Words that are spirit and life are of truth as well.
I would suspect that, instead of judging peoples' motives who are in disagreement with ecumenical pushers, the celebrity followers might consider that it is more loving to warn in truth than it is to not rock the boat while many succumb to deception.
And,yes,KK.I think that in these instances when the vandals are allowed to have at it without the intercession of authorities, that the real victims (businesses and home owners and the like) should switch residences physically with the higher ups who were negligent in their call and those who made such bad judgment calls should have to live in the mess that they allowed for. The big house in the capitol is big enough for the displaced families and the vandalized towns are big enough for the likes of racial instigators.

We have been instructed to give glory to God; the exalt the name of the Lord and what He has done for the children of men. Instead we exalt man's failings. We just don't seem to get it! We would rather present ourselves as though we've attained. When a professing Christian fails, we take sides with the devil and attack with accusations. We have not been called to do this. For the Lord knows those that are his.

2Sa 24:12-14
Go and say unto David, Thus saith the LORD, I offer thee three things; choose thee one of them, that I may do it unto thee.

So Gad came to David, and told him, and said unto him, Shall seven years of famine come unto thee in thy land? or wilt thou flee three months before thine enemies, while they pursue thee? or that there be three days' pestilence in thy land? now advise, and see what answer I shall return to him that sent me.

And David said unto Gad, I am in a great strait: let us fall now into the hand of the LORD; for his mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.

Are we speaking the truth in love? Are we praying for those who have been deceived; those who know who He is and what He has done?

The words we speak are spirit and life, just as Christ spoke.

Maybe we should open the door and let some of our own degenerates out.
Next time the racist opportunists rally together for a smash and grab,we could usher them out - of the country...send them to their "motherland" and see how such behavior sets with them. They might get a new revelation in exercising control.
Everyone can thank the mayor there for all the smash and grab --- and don't forget all the businesses that burned down too – – – all of that took place while police looked on a block away having been given a standdown order from the mayor – – – Everyone of those businesses should sue the city for that mayor's stupidity/total incompetence.

We all know the old saying "ignorance is bliss" –– that along with the racial dysfunction that exists throughout America... Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are key players that feed the fire of racial tensions in this country and Barack Hussein Obama is right in that category with them

There are those that will over spiritualize all of this but the fact is you can't distinguish the muslims coming to do harm to America from those coming to be free – – – These are different days and different times folks –– you can't just open the front door and let them all in

At this juncture in our nation we've got enough problems to deal with here at home without adding to them – – – whether or not people want to admit it we are witnessing an attempt to bring about the death of this nation by a thousand cuts...

The good pastor is anti dispensational , anti classic premillinialism, anti Isreal, pro Islam, pro rcc and Pro Obama. His inter faith dialog group has more in common with mainline denominations who have looked over their horizon and know that they will soon be extinct and can only exist as mouth piece to the secularized pagan approved religions of world.
Evangelicalism has become the pet dog that bites it's family and sits at the their enemies table for supper and attention.

Read, the Wikipedia article, SteveR. It's somewhat entertaining. I believe Vlad promised to become a Catholic if the King of Hungary would help him. The King of Hungary being a good Catholic knew there were other things more important than Catholicism, ]]Understanding Islam and Roman Catholicism, so that part of the world stayed Orthodox.

Read the booklet, RENDERING UNTO CEASAR. I don't speak out about issues because they have become political. If there is something that we are to address we will come across it as we go through the Word of God. We do have responsibilities in areas not directly to the Word of God. If our lives are built upon the Word of God, being a part of God's people, if we are living under the Word following the direction of the Holy Spirit, then you will not need me to tell you what to do in areas that the Scripture does not address. It is not my responsibility to tell you what to do in areas that the Scripture does not directly address. This does not mean that sin is not an important aspect of individual, national, or world life.

This is what the article goes on to state:
"The phrase "Liever Turks dan Paaps" was coined as a way to express that life under the Ottoman Sultan would have been more desirable than life under the King of Spain. The Flemish noble D'Esquerdes wrote to this effect that he:
"would rather become a tributary to the Turks than live against his conscience and be treated according to those [anti-heresy] edicts"
—Letter of Flemish noble D'Esquerdes.
The slogan Liever Turks dan Paaps seems to have been largely rhetorical however, and the Dutch hardly contemplated life under the Sultan at all. Ultimately, the Turks were infidels, and the heresy of Islam alone disqualified them from assuming a more central (or consistent) role in the rebels' program of propaganda."
So remember to take a very large dose of salt with anything that that RCC troll writes.

Thanks for the history lesson. You must be the only one who hasn't seen the pope kissing the koran. I truly hope that one day you realize the significance of that. As an aside, are you aware of the RC doctrine of invincible ignorance.
You don't have to answer that, just google it and you will learn a lot about their worldwide agenda. This doctrine doesn't apply to me because I was told by an catholic apologist that since I truly understood catholicism and still rejected it, then I was eternally damned.

Last one!

When I read about Islam versus RC, I simply think of competing cults. I have often said that the RCC was satan’s church and I mean that because it is the closest counterfeit and is able to confuse the most who are in some manner seeking Christ. They are both the same in the respect that they have both redefined our Lord and Savior and the true Christ won’t be found among them. As Chris noted, their goals are to lead people down the broad path. The RCC is of course the most ecumenical of the two and most have seen pope John Paul II kissing the Koran. Ecumenicalism is a far greater threat to the true faith than Islam is. The strongest spiritual battle is for the souls of men, not their lives. So a Muslim cuts the heads off of 100 people and the RCC leads 1,000 astray. That is the way I look at it.
