Church of England to consider 'transgender baptism' service
A "transgender baptism" service is to be considered by the Church of England for the first time.
The idea is to bless into God's family the new identities of Christians who have undergone gender transition.
The proposal was welcomed by the Church's most senior trans priest. Rev Rachel Mann, Rector of St Nicholas Burnage and a minor canon at Manchester Cathedral, told Christian Today: "Trans people feel powerfully called to be recognised in their 'chosen' name. An opportunity to be publicly introduced to God is therefore significant. I think this is what the proposed liturgy aims to do. It will be symbolically powerful. The extent to which it is [a form of] baptism will be debated by General Synod of course, but this liturgy is a welcome move to affirm Trans people."...

Well Lisa, I can certainly understand your position. I left church about 4 years ago now but my reasoning was much simplier than yours. I simply came to the conclusion that all of the churches in my area were led by hirelings who simply taught and preached things that would draw folks into the church which would then increase or protect their benefit package.
Hi Carl, maybe ot would be a good idea to put a biblical summary together for your wife showing her scripturally why the current church you attend doesn't fall within Christ's guidelines and where, specifically they fail. My wife is Roman Catholic and I refuse to attend so she goes her way, and I go mine. I wouldn't allow it to go any other way and you shouldn't either being the man of the house. Sure, it might cause some friction at first but if she's made aware of the why's, she'll have to accept it, and maybe even follow if/when it really sinks in. It's your duty, right, and expectation to attend a bible only believing, preaching, seeking church, no matter how the other half might feel about it at first. Not an easy thing for many because it's easier not to get into an argument, but something you just have to do considering the comments I've read in a couple of threads.

Brother Saint Elected Elmer I writes: 'Lot of activity today. You all should go be with the brethren instead of wasting your time on here. Let your children be with other children. Be a church.'
I wonder why true Christians are not gathering in so called churches !??? Could it be that we have no wish to be seduced by what they are peddling ?
12Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate. 13Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach. 14For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
Romans 1 26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: 27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Why spread this? Why not just shake the dust off your feet if this behavior is approved. Otherwise, go to God in prayer and speak the truth in love to the pastor, after speaking to the offenders of God.
That's why I'm glad I believe in the biblical baptism of the Holy Spirit. People can't get their grubby hands on it and pollute it. There is no need to argue how to administer it or to whom because it is done by God at faith.
biological issues need to be looked at.... hormones are markedly changing and this is not good. we have feminizing plastics and hormones that chldren are being exposed to and loss of muscle mass in many, there are hormonal issues in women with key minerals missing, besides the heavy metals. research on hormones and the immune system coming from the biology of the gut, as we see increase in low immune disease in youth, youth autism, youth cancer, youth diabetes, there is a hormone component to this as well.
we are harming the next generation both spiritually and physically.
I'm not excusing the insanity of the Church of England, nor that people who have perfectly normal bodies should botch themselves to be someone else, I would like to see a full scope look at causes both spiritual and physical. to me its all spiritual... mixing the seed of species and eating it is spiritual apostasy.... putting human dna from aborted fetuses into shots and injecting it into the body. I do believe we are seeing physical as well as spiritual fallout from the sins of their fathers.
and another issue, when its youth, is how many have been molested, abused, lack of family around? as our schools here want to promote and confuse children even further, is a form of abuse in itself.
1 cor 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience, as also saith the law. 14:35 And if they will learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home: for it is a shame for women to speak in the church.
11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 11:4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. 11:5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven. 11:6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered. 11:7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man. 11:8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man. 11:9 Neither was the man created for the woman; but the woman for the man.
