Gang attacks on white cops could spread nationally
Law enforcement intelligence officials have put out a warning that someone has sent a text calling on people to kill “all white police officers” in reaction to the death of Freddie Gray while in Baltimore police custody, raising fears violence could spread nationally, according to safety memos obtained by The Washington Times.

Officers are being warned of possible ambushes and urged to change travel patterns and to tone down clothes or emblems that identify them as police.

The Baltimore police department separately put out a press release on Monday saying various gangs, including the Black Guerrilla Family, Bloods and Crips “have entered into a partnership to ‘take out’ law enforcement.” ...

Ladybug, I am reading the comments as I wait for the time of the biopsy and have been strenghtened by the prayers and scripture given and Sprugeon one of my favorite always blesses me with his quotes. I am definitely learning how to be like the pearl.
Dorcas, thanks again for your kind words, thoughts and prayers and most of all the scriptures. No, it's May 8 in San Diago, Calif. but his parents and sister are flying out there. So wanted to, though.
Christropher, thanks to you also, you have helped me a lot on here as to how I should handle myself more like Christ would want me to, believe me I am learning these hard lessons and hopefully making me a pearl one day.
And sc thank you for your prayers and scriptures and forgiveness for my words spoken that offended you as well as anyone on here. Love you all because you are my brothers ans sisters in Christ. I was trying to find scriptures to comfort and strenghten my faith and they did come to me from you all.

I want to share this excellent quote from Spurgeon concerning the brethren...
"I wish, brothers and sisters, that we could all imitate "the pearl oyster"—A hurtful particle intrudes itself into its shell, and this vexes and grieves it. It cannot reject the evil, but what does it do but "cover" it with a precious substance extracted out of its own life, by which it turns the intruder into a pearl! Oh, that we could do so with the provocations we receive from our fellow Christians, so that pearls of patience, gentleness, and forgiveness might be bred within us by that which otherwise would have harmed us."

Ladybug,
Many thanks for posting C. Spurgeon's quote.
Oh, for grace to put it into action...

Hi Dolores, somewhere along the line, I missed you talking about your husband. I will be happy to pray for him as well. Also, I was glad to see the conversation between yourself and SC take a lighter turn.

Dorcas, I so appreciate your concern and prayers for my husband. The lymph nodes have grown larger since Feb. The last scan showed them a better picture they said and now he will have a biopsy done Tuesday on one that's on his chest but may have to wait on the one on his back right above his heart until later. The surgeon is very good and God is able to pull him through. The cancer doctor is saying it is lymphoma and we will know more after the biopsy. Thank you so much for your prayers which I see as God using you to give me comfort and faith. We really need christian brothers and sisters in these times we have to go through!!! God bless you and keep you and your family safe. My grandson is graduating from Boot Camp and will soon be a Marine in the US Marine Corps. May the 8th. I believe. God got him through it.

Sc, you are right, and God may be sure enough using you as a way to be taught some lessons that He wants me to learn about myself to make a better christian out of me. I have issues in my life that need help from God to deal with the right way and no name touched me on that. Whatever happens to me or said to me God wants to show me a better way and make me a better person. Thank you for caring.

If police brutality is a problem in their own cities, imagine the brutality if the police depts were federal outsider run.

Dolores,I was just posting in response to your prior post"... these very ones that are calling you out over your part in the debate, have ripped me apart about my comments to the point I no longer want to comment either."
Looking over former posts,I don't see anyone ripping you apart. Further,I don't think that the moderator would allow for that. If that is the case, the comments are often removed. And there aren't too many people who post on this forum that would allow for that as well.
I'm glad that someone has tried to help you with your feelings of anger.
Perhaps it would help if you would understand what the objections are and to whom or what they are directed. Of course, man-made holidays and high-profile ecumenical advocates will meet with disapproval in Christian circles. Nothing personal. we really should relish what is true as Christians so will have a zeal for such in its defense which,of course, should always come from God's Word. And,Christians will always care about informing other bros and sisters if they see them supporting error.

Penned, amen..sc if you go back and read my posts, I said that I had issues with anger and have to stop posting. I get caught up in all the anger not just here but in things going on in my life. Dorcas, graciously helped me out with that by her own feelings about this anger. People who are hurt tend to lash out in anger. I did the same thing on the very first thing I posted on here which was a very stupid thing to say and unlike you had no one but Christropher to back me up and pennned. I can say, I was wrong but you can't. Did you see me post on the last Franklin Graham post? Or the Easter post? Why put myself through all the bickering when nothing is accomplished but anger and bitter feelings. I posted on this one because I understood where no name was coming from. I meant, I had quit posting on this forum and dealing with things in my life that no one knows about but God, just as I said that God revealed to me, just absorb the hurts and allow Him to handle things in His own way and timing. It's less stressful for me if I do this, that way if you are right and I am wrong then He will deal with me as He did no name who repented of his wrong in the matter. Sc I care or I wouldn't go to the trouble to even explain myself to you.

Dolores,you lie now?
You had said, and I quote "..., I had to stop posting on things that were not even connected with anything other than a person that I thought of as a deep Christian man and Christmas and other things and these very ones that are calling you out over your part in the debate, have ripped me apart..."
If anyone would look back at around the time and even prior to that time when you quit posting they would find out otherwise. We were all gracious to you.
I say "boo hoo" to you because you have this erroneous "martyr syndrome". If anyone ever disagrees with your position, especially when presenting FACTS contrary to it ,then you automatically take it as a personal offense and align yourself with those who suffer true persecution for their faith.

Dolores, that's right. why escalate things? and why buy into the tv propaganda? they want the "races" to hate each other. that's why I was saying watching an alternative sight that is welcomed on the streets (they detest the MSM) was encouraging, you start to hear the nuances, you cannot understand til you listen. and that listening has to go both ways. if inner city folk understood, and I think many do, that the working class is struggling to survive for the same reasons they are, then they might unite and clean up corruption, and we can't have that!! there was a story out about a white man attacked by police dog had his face chewed on till he passed out, another was a woman who was shot while handcuffed, they said she was shooting at them. huh?

the issue is that DHS is federalizing the police dep's and gearing them with war machines. the republic was created with sheriff jurisdiction and local accountability. the escalation is used to expand the fed expansion, just trace DOJ and Soros (again private money) in these things.

what can you do when powerful men want the escalation? do what is just, pray and do not let the devil have a foothold in the body of Christ.

Jim and Sc..I rest my case. You just proved my point. No name, you have the fruit of the Spirit and see things the way God wants us to..thanks for your comment back to me, very encouraging (God helping me out here) Thanks pennned,, you are always encouraging as well as many others. News flash from this mornings paper...6 police officers charged with felonies in the death of Freddie Gray from assault to murder.Baltimore goes from rage to relief. Their picture showed 3 blacks and 3 whites. State's attorney said Gray's arrest was illegal and unjustified, and that his neck was broken because he was handcuffed and shackled and placed head first into a police van, where his pleas for medical help were repeatly ignored as he bounced around inside the small metal box. I can't go on with the rest of the news report but it did take the city by surprise because of the results of the police criminal and official autopsy results. All this violence toward cops because of a few bad cops is as bad as what happens in cases like this. Innocent people suffering at the hands of rioters, no excuse for this.

This is worth much more than you realize. Sin is added to sin. Lawlessness and lasciviousness is flaming the fires of all ungodly passions. Don't discount what he is saying without trying to gain understanding as to why.

I believe they are still covering something up. If you look closely at the video, before Gray was put into the police van, he could not support his own weight, and it appears that he could not support his head. Do you suppose that his neck was broken when he was on the ground?

He could not stand up. Besides, why is it that 300 men came into the Garden of Gethsemane for just one man? Six cops to one man? With guns, tazers, and clubs? This is happening all too often.

Cities will become bankrupt having to pay out millions in lawsuit damages.
