Attempt to Market Anti-Porn Ministry to Mark Driscoll Fans Goes Bad
The header on the email read: ‚ÄúMark Driscoll‚ÄĒThe Real Story.‚ÄĚ

It began with a brief intro from Gross, then a list of the sins of failed pastors: ‚Äúextramarital affairs, flirting, porn addiction, gambling addictions, and a whole mess of other stuff.‚ÄĚ

Those sins, Gross said, all stem from a lack of accountability‚ÄĒthe same root issue he claims felled Driscoll.

Gross’s overall message: buy our software, or you might end up like Driscoll. ...

I have no money or a doctor and take whatever care they feel like giving me when I go to the ER as beggars are not choosers.
Hospice is not for suicide, The Lutherans who run most hospice here in Lincoln wouldn't hear of it. I suggest that you do find a good Bible-believing church ( What to Look for in a Church ), and talk to their pastor.

As far as Mark Dricoll is concerned an example of Dearth of Discernment.

Oh Steve, I live as a shut in and had no pastor or church, I have been studying online and haven't found a church home, the only fellowship is here with all of you wonderful people that had to endure my immaturity, may God Bless you all.
I have suffered with this condition for ten years, and believe it might be my time.
may God have mercy on us all.
with love from

Get Real,
Do you have a Pastor that can sit down with you and discuss this pressing matter? The LORD has raised up the local Church for many reasons including issues such as this

Amen, John UK, we all need to be reminded of this excellent post, the key word being, daily. Seek Him every morning even if we have to get up early to read his word and pray. Gives us much strenght to face the day and whatever it may bring.I think of my time with Him as daily manna for my soul.
Dolores, what a good example you are, and a great encouragement to all of us to spend much time with the Lord as a first priority at the commencement of each and every day. I'm never at my best in the morning, but I should discipline myself and worry less about getting my breakfast and think more on getting some heavenly manna to begin the day aright. Thanks for your post.

Ephesians 5:18 is not just good advice, it is the cure for all sorts of sins. It is not separated from the new birth and the sealing of the Spirit, but is a maintenance program for every Christian. Can we "grieve the Holy Spirit"? Yes. Can we "quench the Holy Spirit"? Yes. And can we grieve and quench the Holy Spirit while we are filled with the Holy Spirit? Yes. This is what leads to lack of spiritual power, lack of zeal, losing our first love, having other gods before God, having not a care for the lost, worshipping with the lips but our heart is far from God, having a form of godliness but denying the power thereof, going through the motions at church, elevating head knowledge over heart knowledge, playing the backslider and hypocrite, having a Phariseeical attitude, introducing unbiblical practices ...... the list goes on and on, unless we are daily, hourly, being filled with the Spirit of God, being careful not to grieve or quench him.
