Top Christians prep civil disobedience over marriage
A team of prominent Christian leaders is preparing a statement that will inform the public ‚Äď including justices on the U.S. Supreme Court ‚Äď that they will engage in civil disobedience rather that follow a ruling that establishes homosexual ‚Äúmarriage‚ÄĚ across the United States.
Among those leading the charge is James Dobson of Family Talk Radio, Rick Scarborough of Vision America Action, Mat Staver of Liberty Counsel and James Robison of Life Today, whose brand new publication called The Stream reported on a recent telephone conference call discussing the issue....
Dr. Rugh wrote: Romans 13:4 also tells us that government is "a minister of God to you for good." We need to be reminded that government can be good. Often we focus on the corruption and deception we see in it and we become negative toward it. We may think, "If the apostles only knew the corruption we have in our political situation today they would not have said that government is a minister of God for good." The truth is they lived in a Roman government that had more corruption than this nation. Many Roman emperors were open homosexuals, adulterers, and murderers. This Roman government would eventually put some of the apostles to death. But the apostles believed government accomplished good. Although the Roman government was corrupt, the peace that Rome brought to the world produced an environment that allowed for the quick spread of the Gospel....

Readers, I want to encourage you to open up this article and listen to Colin Mercer's message of how we are to deal with this prevailing issue of sodomy. This pastor is right on revealing God's thoughts on this matter, and other sins. It will do you good. The alias "Delivered" does not mean I was delivered from this particular sin. However, I was delivered from the sin of self-righteousness, relevant-righteousness, and comparative-righteousness. And such were some of you. But God ... You guys are great on the board.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, "There is none righteous, not even one." Romans 3:23 For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 5:12 Therefore, just as through one man sin entered into the world, and death through sin, and so death spread to all men, because all sinned. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 10:9 That if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved. Romans 10:13 For "Whoever will call upon the name of the Lord will be saved."---]]NASB
We are so conditioned to not mention sin , that the shepards are devided on how to stop an avalanche. They've become morman missionaries driving up and down the nieghborhoods promising celestial marriages and never explaining their theology is left wanting.

Thomas Edison wrote: Five percent of the people think; ten percent of the people think they think; and the other eighty-five percent would rather die than think.
Now it would have been much better if T. Edison had replaced the word "think" in the last part of those sentences to "Read the Bible."

‚ÄúWe‚Äôre taking a very adamant stand,‚ÄĚ he said. ‚ÄúIf the court declares same-sex ‚Äėmarriage‚Äô to be on the same par as a civil right, that‚Äôs a bridge too far. We won‚Äôt obey. We‚Äôll go to jail.‚ÄĚ
‚ÄúImmediately, when elevated to that level of a constitutionally protected category, [same-sex marriage] is given the same status as race. What you cannot legally do with respect to race, you will not be able to do legally with respect to same-sex unions and sexual immorality,‚ÄĚ he said.
Well, the above 2 paragraphs are from the article. I skimmed it and didn’t notice anyone mentioning that homosexuality is an abomination and those who practice it will suffer the wrath of God. They appear to be arguing more that same sex marriage is not a civil rights or a racial issue and that is what the government is calling it so they can push it. I certainly would agree with that issue. The pastors noted that I recognized, are all ecumenists who lean strongly towards dominionism. The reason I mention it is because just like those who signed the Manhatten Declaration, their agendas are social and cultural. I hope they succeed, but nothing will change. We are where we are today because of pastors like these.
