More U.S. children doing yoga, taking sleep supplements
A growing number of American children are bending into downward dog and other yoga poses, according to a new report on complementary health practices.
The report analyzed National Health Interview Survey data on practices outside of mainstream medicine and found significantly more kids and teens practicing yoga, tai chi and qi gong in 2012 than in 2007.
The study also showed a significant increase in the number of children using melatonin supplements as sleep aids. Melatonin is a natural hormone known to play a role in sleep.
Yoga originated in India more than 5,000 years ago, and the mind-body practice has become so popular in the west that yoga studios are as common in parts of California as Starbucks coffeehouses....
"It has been claimed, by an unenlightened few, that vaccination is based on scientific principles and is of comparatively recent origin. But these claims have been proved false, first, because inoculation was practiced and abandoned as useless by primitive tribes many centuries ago, and second because Jenner and the modern experimenters in vaccination were not scientists and did not test and prove their theories by any scientific criteria before launching the hazarduous practice on the public."
Dr. Herbert Shelton wrote: Savage tribes of the Upper Congo practiced it to prevent "syphilis." The Baris of Lado inoculated themselves over the left breast. The Negroes in Senegal inoculated their children on the arms. The Moors and Pouls of Senegambia practiced inoculation against pleuro-pneumonia. A practice of this kind was in vogue in Berne, Switzerland in the 18th century.
Dr of bigotry?
If you are going to cut and paste from neo nazi websites, please provide the source of the lunatic you are quoting. Otherwise its plagiarism. In your case, a google search shows you are quoting a fool in N Idaho. Its easy to spot the neo nazi websites because they have to say things like 'Negroes in Senegal' and 'Savage tribes' to not just enrage their audience but because their base is too ignorant to know where places like Senagal are and the demographics of who lives there, let alone too stupid to make posts like this on their own.
The first record of smallpox seems to be in India, where also is the first record of inoculation, where the practice was in vogue over three thousand years ago. Dhanwantari, the Vedic father of medicine, and the earliest known Hindu physician, supposed to have lived 1500 B. C., is said to have been the first to practice inoculation and it is also stated that the Hindus employed a vaccine. For over a thousand years inoculation has been practiced in China.
The practice is so mixed up with the religious superstitions of various peoples that its origin may not be difficult for students of religious history to guess. In India, in Malaba and in other sections of the world, inoculation was mixed up with the worship of the smallpox goddess.
Inoculation seems to have been nothing more than a superstitious rite designed to placate and appease the wrath of an irascible deity. People who imagined all their sufferings were sent upon them because they had offended some of their gods or goddesses originated the filthy rite to get the goddess into a good humor again.
I think its funny that people think its a sterile process because the needle is sterile, but would they rub their infections arm to arm? NEVER! build it on the cells of an aborted fetal cell line, and a bunch of legalese on an insert, stick it in a syringe with a doc in a white coat, now that's something special! yes, idolatry from the east is still alive and well, we've moved to scientific gods and statues to great minds. good point Dr. Shelton.
I mentioned that the inoculation practice was introduced from the east. The date of the origin of this superstitious practice is hidden in the darkness of pre-history. Savage and barbaric peoples, in various parts of the world, practiced inoculation. It is thought to have started in India. where so many of our superstitions originated, and spread from there to Africa and Europe.
From time immemorial the Negroes and Arabs of Nubia practiced inoculation against smallpox. The Ashantees and the Moorish and Arab tribes in Northern Africa practiced arm to arm inoculation from ancient times. Savage tribes of the Upper Congo practiced it to prevent "syphilis." The Baris of Lado inoculated themselves over the left breast. The Negroes in Senegal inoculated their children on the arms. The Moors and Pouls of Senegambia practiced inoculation against pleuro-pneumonia. A practice of this kind was in vogue in Berne, Switzerland in the 18th century.
Its really interesting that here in Aus they have begun doing yoga and meditation classes instead of quiet time and just brainwashing the children... disgusting because they put on all this earth music and encourage the children to become one with the earth etc.
John Y., we are in agreement about Yoga. See ]] Yoga Theory and Practice: Separable? -- Part 1 an excerpt from which,
John Ankerberg and Mark Weldon wrote: "Physical yoga, according to its classical definitions, is inheritably and functionally incapable of being separated from Eastern religious metaphysics. The Western practitioner who attempts to do so is operating in ignorance and danger, from the yogi’s viewpoint, as well as from the Christian’s. "
Just one of the numerous false religions, e.g., ]]Roman Catholics, Mormons, and Jehovah Witnesses, that are sapping the vitality out of the country.
"But if it doesn’t please you to worship Yahweh, choose for yourselves today the one you will worship: the gods your fathers worshiped beyond the Euphrates River or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you are living. As for me and my family, we will worship Yahweh." Joshua 24:15
As many as 10 years ago the U.S. government schools began adding parts of yogo into their mandatory Physical Education classes. These kids have been doing yogo for some time already. Under Common Core, the teachers have time during each day to instruct the children in meditation and meditation techniques; they teach various poses from these eastern religious practices but it doesn't stop at downward dog - it includes "deep breathing techniques that release your inner spirit so you can reach your full potential and let go of aggression", to name one. And should a Christian feel "uncomfortable" with these practices, well, they covered those bases too because they use this:
"Meditation and the Bible" "A highly radical interpretation of the Bible demonstrating the methods of meditation used by the Prophets to attain their unique states of consciousness. First English translation from ancient unpublished manuscripts, with commentary."
But then again, these kids are given to Caesar pretty much from birth so we shouldn't be shocked when the system produces "little Roman's".
"But if it doesn’t please you to worship Yahweh, choose for yourselves today the one you will worship: the gods your fathers worshiped beyond the Euphrates River or the gods of the Amorites in whose lan
