U.S. public school forces girls to follow Islam

The Douglas County School District in Colorado, under fire for saying that schoolgirls might have to cover up from head to ankle for a field trip to a Muslim mosque, has confirmed that such Shariah requirements will be enforced on the outing.

‚ÄúStudents who choose to attend the [Rocky Heights Middle School] world religion field trip are expected to respect the dress code of the host facility,‚ÄĚ the school said in a statement posted online.

The explanation followed a firestorm of criticism of the school for announcing the field trip for seventh-grade students and including a note that the Shariah dress code could be enforced. ...

interesting to see how little protest there is for women to cover their heads at a mosque, which puts them under the headship of allah and the imam, you know.

which is why Eve was created in the first place
Remember the daughters of Eve have a specific place in the family/marriage hierarchy established by God Himself.

God also commands;
Gen 3:16 Unto the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children; and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall RULE over thee.
= Note this authority by men over women comes from God.

Eph 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. 23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. 24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Col 3:18 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.

= And there is a specific reason given by God for this structure; Viz:
1Tim 2:12 But I suffer not a woman to teach, nor to usurp authority over the man, but to be in silence. 13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

Family structure of authority as created and established by God is the basis of society.

"There is no doubt that the woman is a distinguished ornament of the man; for it is a great honor that God has appointed her to the man as the partner of his life, and a helper to him, and has made her subject to him as the body is to the head. What Solomon affirms as to a careful wife - that she is a crown to her husband, (Prov 12:4) is true of the whole sex, if we look to the appointment of God, which Paul here commends, showing that the woman was created for this purpose - that she might be a distinguished ornament of the man." (J.Calvin)
Mr. Calvin should have studied a little deeper. The woman was not an ornament, nor merely a helper, but a help meet, i.e. a help suitable for Adam the dustman, who was not whole, but was missing something, which is why Eve was created in the first place. Man is composed of men and women.

Gen 5:2 "Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created."

Interesting note: The woman is subject to the man as the body to the head, but the wife is the crown of her husband. Where is the crown worn?

Calvin in one paper proclaims the height of shamelessness will be when women are so vile they will show their belly buttons in Church. Welcome to 2015

When people like Michael are offended when girls are cautioned against touching 'boyfriends' in religious locations, perhaps he would raise the bar on what is the height of shamelessness

When and why the woman's head should always be covered.
1Cor 11:
5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.
6 For if the woman be not covered, let her also be shorn: but if it be a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaven, let her be covered.
7 For a man indeed ought not to cover his head, forasmuch as he is the image and glory of God: but the woman is the glory of the man.
8 For the man is not of the woman; but the woman of the man.

"There is no doubt that the woman is a distinguished ornament of the man; for it is a great honor that God has appointed her to the man as the partner of his life, and a helper to him, and has made her subject to him as the body is to the head. you want all the little American girls bowing to Mecca with their heads covered? you that respects other cultures, do you have any understanding of what this might mean in the religion?

more sign of the silence of the pulpits. now that islam is a protected political class, the 501c3 pastor must remain silent and give his support. the mosque in the ME is the political/military center, it is a different "animal" than the local church. not all things are equivalent.

there is such a thing as participating in idols. The Christians of old knew this.

Our God is Jehovah God and His Son is Jesus Christ. Two different gods!

Would you tell young school age girls: "Now for our class assignment you are required to visit the local gay bar, so make sure you don't have any crosses, doves, on as necklaces or earrings and certainly don't carry a Bible, as that would offend their customers and you will get expelled if you dare leave any Christian tracts for someone to find, and by the way don't hold hands with your boyfriend either."
If a visit to a mosque is voluntary that is one thing, if it is required that is another.
I think we have a lot of learning and growing to do.
Did Michael really just compare going to Church, Synagogue,or Mosque with going to a gay bar? It must have been 20+ years since I have even heard the term 'gay bar' let alone compare them to religious locations with dress codes like the Temple Mount or Wailing Wall in Jerusalem.

The unholy trinity must not understand modest appearance is Christian

1 Timothy 2:9 In like manner also, that women adorn themselves in modest apparel, with shamefacedness and sobriety; not with broided hair, or gold, or pearls, or costly array;

1 Corinthians 11:14 Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him?

Good comment Michael. People who think like Irish Queen are the reason we have such an ecumenical world. I would simply add this: if Christ is Lord and Savior, then these other religions must represent satan; there is no in between. Now why would anyone pay homage to satanic worship. People like this are responsible for the dummying down of Chistianity.

The level of cultural and historical ignorance among Americans makes me squirm. When my family traveled to Latin American in the early 1960's, a time when the Roman Catholic Church required women to cover their heads while in church, my mother, sister and I always put on a hat or mantilla before entering some of the region's many beautiful Baroque churches. If we had forgotten to bring either, there were little old ladies guarding the doors who would give us a Kleenex to cover our heads. We did not do this because we were agreeing with or adopting Catholic Dogma. We did it because it demonstrated courtesy and respect for that Dogma. We weren't forced to do it - it was our choice to go inside these Churches.

When we entered a Synagogue, my brother put on a hat for the same reason.

When I visited famous Mosques in Egypt, I always put took off my shoes and put on a headscarf before entering, not because I was being forced to live under Sharia Law, but to show courtesy and respect for the rules of the people worshipping there.

If you visit the shrine of a different religion, you are obliged to show respect for that religion by following their rules and etiquette. If you object to those rules, don't visit the shrine. If you go there anyway, don't complain about their rules.

Honestly, it's no different than when our troops went over to Saudi Arabia and were required to respect certain aspects of their culture. If, and I say if, public-school was to come visit the church, I would prefer the girls to wear more clothing then what they do in public school. Not that they are going to come visit a Christian church, or that the school would dream of enforcIng a dress code for anything other than Muslims... But I stand by my earlier comment.

For me, allowing my child to dress like them is the first step in acceptance. And then ...

It is impossible for someone to be completely sincere and honest and become a heretic or a false prophet. That would be the same as saying someone became an alcoholic without taking that first drink. No, someone becomes a heretic or a false prophet because they inwardly abhor or disagree with a particular truth they don‚Äôt like and agree with and desire the lie they do like. In other words, they entertain a particular heresy because they want that heresy to be true. God then looks into their hearts and ‚Äúturns them over‚ÄĚ to their own thoughts and lusts and the lie they wanted to believe suddenly becomes truth and the truth they didn‚Äôt want to believe suddenly becomes a lie. Once this occurs and God turns them over to their own lusts and desires, they often have no way of knowing truth from lies. They then become sincere heretics and false prophets who really have no way of knowing what they are. Conclusion: be very careful of that first heretical step; it will be downhill! I try to always remember that if something has meaning, then it has application. If I don‚Äôt apply a truth in my life, then it will soon become meaningless.

This is not a mandatory event. This is a field trip to a muslim mosque and this is the requirements of the muslim religion. The Bible tells christians that women's heads should be covered in church and all to live modest and chaste lives.
