Luke 2:1-14

And it came to pass in those days that a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered. This census first took place while Quirinius was governing Syria. 3 So all went to be registered, everyone to his own city.

Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and ...

Happy Circumcision Day! Did you get circumcised Johnny?

Well you deserve to be verbally attacked for the pathological hatred you have for celebrating the birth of Jesus on 25 December even if it is fact that He was not born on 25 December and for your illogical thinking that the Mass is entirely unscriptural. The Holy Spirit does not consider the entire Mass to be unscriptural.

And "GOD" instructed his Roman Calvinist and Roman Catholic followers to murder Anabaptists and anyone else who did not believe Calvinist/Catholic dogma.

Your attempted deception fooled no one and must be very embarrassing for you. Shameful, but somehow I doubt you're capable of feeling shame. Let us all know when you've finally settled on your sexuality. Seems to me that you're as confused in your Christianity as you are about your sexuality, but your Pharasaism is plain for all to see, as is your true sexuality irrespective of your attempted deception.

ph, you are the liar and the cowardly fraud who hides behind lame monikers. Where have I lied or been fraudulent? Using hypothetical examples don't count when they are read as such. Of course, if one is too challenged in understanding what's written, maybe they ought to refrain from responding lest they reveal themselves to be as ignorant as they are.
You must be a pro football player,a plant,a BG supporter, health nut, or roman catholic or someone who would fit into the aforementioned. It's good when those who are spiritually compromised/deceived TRY to persecute you. Apparently, I must have hit a very sensitive nerve...or better yet, was instrumental in the Holy Spirit rattling your cage. There is so much more peace on the side of truth. If you undermine the Word of God, you will be the one who will answer ..not to me or anyone on this forum but to God. ...just sayin'
Meanwhile, I rest in Him and have a clear conscience. I hope that you will repent and truly come to know the Lord...I'm thinking that you might not know Him. At any rate, lies are of none effect in the grand scheme of things and God works all things for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.."

And the same to you and to your loved ones brother. 2014, as with most years, was a little confusing and had it ups and downs for me, but I do thank God for this board and for all who post, even those I disagree with. I also thank God for all the blessings he gave to my wife and I.

I also enjoy reading "SISTER" SC's posts. Now it is our responsibilities as Christian men to correct anything she says that is heretical. A Christian man would never hide his identity, but a woman might because they know it might detract from what they say. But, so far what she posts, although sometimes caustic, is not something that takes away from Christ and His message to us. I like those who take a logical stand and then pursue it regardless of the way others might view it. I always think that God knows our hearts anyway and if we agree to simply agree, then He knows our hypocrisy. She is persistent and I like that.Happy New Year to all

'He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away." not sure why sc thinks it is important to disguise her gender, as far as I can tell for the most part comments from both genders are accepted at face value and are not degenerated because one gender is speaking as opposed to the other. I will refer to her as sister until she lets us know otherwise, it just seems better than calling her an it. Plus, to be honest sc, you talk from a female perspective.

I think people need to be more understanding that she is the way she is. Let's say the article was against salt usage saying it leads to high blood pressure. If this was one her passions and someone stated that it made their french fries taste better in response to her post. She would probably respond, well then I guess you want children to be fatherless and to create widows. (no offense intended sc)

That is just her style, it has not changed. I certainly don't see eye to eye with her on a number of issues but just realize sometimes it just not worth making a mountain out of a molehill.

Our Lord deals patiently with us. She needs our love, understanding, appreciation and realization that she has a certain manner of communication that is different than others. We need the same from her to us.

The poor dear is having an identity crisis!, Maybe being a female she was brought up by her parents as a male and hence the grotesque display of testosterone or maybe the post was subterfuge by someone who seems adept at it. Any way one looks at it she comes off poorly. Exposed to all on this forum as a fraud and a liar!

US,I'm not equating making a profit or running a business with greed. However, from what I've seen, most malls are very relaxed when it comes to discernment in the modesty department. Many clothing and department stores have indecent posters in their windows and throughout their stores, even in the perfume section, and during that time of the season, inappropriate calendars are sold out in the open...just a couple of examples. I won't get any more descriptive. If you have a different experience at your local mall, good for you. ***I wouldn't be comfortable as a woman walking in the mall and having to pass lingerie stores with men perched on the benches that are strategically placed within eye shot of them.*** It's sad that we've come to this point...
I wish I had remembered this quote when I was trying to convince "SC" that there is more indecency on the magazine rack at the grocery store than at sporting events. Oh well.

You misunderstood,1517, I meant that you must prefer the expressions of the other guy. I wasn't suggesting that you had a different moniker.
John, haven't you learned what the mass is?
Just that you would qualify your statement regarding the mass by using the words "not consider the entire.." suggests that even you understand that there is some problem with it.And you call me pathological. Actually, considering the source, I'll take it as a compliment. It's when those who are grounded in the Word of God and who are born again attack you that one needs to be concerned.

Now that you have revealed your Roman Catholic-Arminian position don't forget that is your declaration of where you stand doctrinally. Some free willers around here declare their Arminian/Free will/RCC ideologies then change their minds further down the thread.

As for the GOD ORDAINED Reformation - If you have complaints about it then direct them to GOD Himself. What GOD did was bring the Protestant Church into Bible doctrines and began then to build HIS Church on that foundation. That is what GOD DID with the Reformation.

Arminians came along later and invented the human faith formula whereby they trust God in part and at some point in their "faith" the sinner trusts himself.
Which is the RCC/Free Willer DIY method which is the opposite to Bible based Calvinism.

Subsequently by His Grace God taught the Bible doctrines to His Church by TULIP, Canons of Dordt and WCF.

So Michael you are one of the Anabaptist philosophy followers, which rejects the Covenant of God. This ideology materialised after God's Reformation as did the Arminian theory and many other heresies. Hmmm?
