Americans now spend more time on mobile devices than watching TV
Flurry Analytics found that time spent on smartphones and tablets have reached two hours and 57 minutes for the average American, which is up 9.3 percent from nine months ago. According to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, Americans spend two hours and 48 minutes per day watching TV — a number that has stayed flat for more than two years.

Christopher just I have seen on the topic was more detailed then I have seen before. I hope that you can direct her on to the correct path. Witnessing Effectively to Roman Catholics.

Apparently Australians have as much trouble with smart devices as Americans. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2015-03-02/the-gadgets-and-devices-recording-our-every-move/6275580. Shades of 1984.

Sorry Elmer...meant to get back to you a couple days ago. Listened to husbands/wives and haven't finished called to be saints. Thanks, appreciate it. Yielding isn't a word in my wifes vocabulary and a concept she would get a good laugh over. Hopefully one day she will come to know Christ and be changed to the point we can actually have conversations in these sorts of topics. She is Roman Catholic but fully in the world; not being bothered by sin because baptism and weekly mass attendance, along with Purgatory assure her entrance into Heaven...eventually.

Husbands love your wives

I think this is the one. It may be good for you and your wife to listen to.

Called to be saints

This one isn't about wives, but I thought you may be interested in it. Let me know what you think.

I sure believe that. My wife is on Facebook from the time she wakes to right before she goes to sleep....literally, and it's maddening because she is always preoccupied by it. Facebook also causes stress in her life if someone says something she doesn't like, wasn't included in, if she didn't get the likes she expected, etc. Ridiculous waste of time, and it's become a sickness. Everyone is trying to one up the other, impress everyone, post constant profile changes so their friends can tell them how awesome they look, and the list goes on. I can't even watch a show with her because she constantly has to rewind to see/hear what she missed because her face annd concentration are devoted to Facebook.

I don't have a Facebook account--and never plan to get one. I am going to add that it is harder to watch a lot of stuff on a tablet/phone device, because of the restrictions put on them by the providers of video content. It's usually easier to pull out a laptop, because they weren't designed to be so easily tracked.

People can put And Bible app on Android devices I see in the latest version you can even get the King James Version with the Apocrypha. But, oh, well. You can great versions also like the ESV, and that is all free. No doubt a better way to spend up close and personal time with your handheld.

I think it's all a problem. How about compare TV and Facebook time to time in prayer, study, and with family.

Perhaps not really. You can watch TV on your tablets and phones.
