'Christianity Is No Longer a Religion,' Turkish Minister Declares
Some Christians have long insisted that Jesus didn't come to start a religion—He came to establish a relationship. But that's not what a Turkish minister meant when he declared Christianity is no longer a religion.
"The biggest three countries in the world are not Muslim countries. China, India—only the U.S. believes in a single God. Spirituality and religious feelings are weakening," Turkish Environment and Urban Minister Erdo?an Bayraktar said at a recent conference hosted by the ruling Justice and Development Party's (AKP) Women's Group, according to the Hurriyet Daily News....

A reprobate politician declares that Christianity is no longer a religion?
The Remnant never was supposed to be a large number in the world. In the western countries churches are decreasing and disappearing so it is no surprise that those who live in darkness fail to see the church.
The Remnant becomes even smaller today but God never chose to reveal Himself or His disciples by a greater multitude. It never ever was about people power.
This politician merely manifests his ignorance and sadly his reprobation.
"Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace." Rom 11:5
This is really interesting. Here we are, a mish mosh of cultures and languages, without much of anything that's original, but borrowed, and we are the ones who believe in the God of the bible, alone, and sola scriptura. A new-ish nation with recent roots and it's the places of antiquity; the birthplaces of Christianity, and even Christs own home town who work against and hate Him, or simply dismiss and minimalize Him. Just seems like it should be the other way around since they have all the historical and archeological evidence.
