Joel Osteen Likes God…He just doesn’t like Jesus
Just for kicks I did a quick survey of all Joel Osteen tweets in the last year. I can’t go further back, so we’ll stick with going back to July 8, 2013, which is a little more than a year ago. Out of Joel Osteens 806 tweets, not including any of his replies to other people, he mentions “God” 334 time.

Want to guess how many times he mentioned “Jesus”?

Right John...listen. to the previous posters. A.generic invitation to accept Christ at the end of a show and usually directly preceeding a call for donations is really meaningless. Are there genuine conversions? Probably, but these mass alter calls with masses of people believing they are saved after a canned "repeat after me" salvation session are very misleading. Really no different than a Roman Catholic believing they are heaven bound because they were baptized, attend mass, do sacraments, etc. Meaningless. I used to believe that those crowds of people saying the sinners prayer were all saved at that moment and I thought, "wow...how great"" I no longer believe the bulk of any alter calls are genuine conversions, but rather, temporary fleshly responses that are based on superficial, fleeting emotional response.
As for Joel Osteen, like so many others, he dances around the hard questions so as not to offend. For example, when asked if sodomy is wrong or will send people to hell, the answer is a simple "no". Mr Osteen will turn a one word answer into several paragraphs, leave the answer open ended, and not include the word "no" in it.

John Y, Osteen has on more than one occasion stated that it's irrelevant as to whom or what or if anything one places their trust in. It's no secret that he has flat out denounced Christ in doing so...because if one states that there are many ways to Heaven, then they automatically reject the one true God. Though Osteen has said that he believes in Christ, he also quickly qualifies his statement by adding that that is just his belief and he couldn't possibly judge someone else for not accepting Christ...big red flag here. If someone states that they don't believe in Christ as their Savior...they are already condemned. There are no other options. And as Dorcas pointed out, Osteen is among many false preachers who push the idea of the deification of man. Furthermore, he teaches and could almost be the poster boy for witchcraft...speaking out that which one wishes to create...bibidi bobidi boo..blab it and grab it. bad news!!

Jesus declares if you are not with Him you are against Him - There's only two ways to go. Osteen has picked his path and that is the worldly way of mammon.

Matthew 12:30 "He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad."

John,
Do you hear Joel preach on your sin? On repentance of your sin? On how you deserve Hell because of your sin?
no.
IF YOU DONT BELIEVE THE BAD NEWS NOR HEAR IT...YOU HAVE NO DESIRE FOR THE GOOD NEWS..THE GOSPEL.

The article speaks of how Jesus is minimized....
And a God who can give you THINGS...is.

Joel olsteens messages are centered around self loving messages. They're all about me, myself, I, mine it's all about me. They need to take their ale yes off of themselves and put them on THE LORD JESUS CHRIST and what's he's done and still doing. His ministry if that's what you wanna call it, is straight apostasy. As a preacher, he is to preach the whole council of GOD and not this self centered love myself, it's all about me junk.
