Talk-radio host Rush Limbaugh on Monday blasted the Veterans Administration as a “death panel being done on purpose” as the investigation into secret waiting lists and backlogs causing unnecessary deaths expanded to 19 states.
“These people are special. These are soldiers. They’re special. They got wounded in action … defending this country on missions assigned by their commander-in-chief and other commanding officers,” Limbaugh said.
“Now we learn of these deaths by attrition, secret waiting lists, and this is the real bad thing of it. People on these lists assume that they’re being moved ahead of the line. That’s the purpose of the secret list, that they’re going to really be taken care of. Because the backlog is so jammed, the line for treatment at the VA is so long that they’ve come up with this secret list business, and the people on that list think that they’re essentially being moved to...
Here is a question for the dear brother, Mike from NY.
First let us set the stage. The current "healthcare" plan aka Obamacare is given us courtesy of the democrats as no republican voted for it. In fact they voted, what 50x or so to repeal it. That may seem insane, until you realize that Nancy Pelosi said we can't know what is in it until we pass it. So, a democrat could easily say at election time, I didn't know what was in it and now that the details are known I probably would have voted against it. But, now they are on record of having voted for it 50x after the details were known. Alas, I digress.
Mr. Jim (who has an impressive workout ethic it would make jpw proud) has said on more than one occasion, that the current (democrat) plan is based upon the republican plan. It is just a copy of what the republicans proposed.
Mr. Jim has also, as in his last post here, repeatedly stated that the republican healthcare plan is don't get sick, if you do get sick die quickly (per Al Grayson)
So, if the democrats are copying the republicans plan, what would that make the current democratic "healthcare" plan aka Obamacare, according to our friend Jim from the capital of Nebraska?
UPS, well one would care because it was under Baby-Face Bush, longer than that, you know the "Compassionate Conservative" Who know doubt subscribed to the modern GOP healthcare plan:
1. Don't get Sick! 2. If you do get sick, die quickly
Unfortunately some of these veterans had long lingering deaths waiting for treatment
No, UPS, I'm not brushing you off, though. Yes, we should be expecting action on this problem promptly.
Who is the loud-mouth "one note samba" Rush Limbaugh. I got so tired of his constant harping on Wild Billy Clinton, I was beginning to feel sorry for Billy! If I had listened to Limburger Limbaugh, longer I might even voted for Billy! (No I didn't to both.)

Who cares? It has been under president Obama for 5 years. It doesn't matter what Bush did or didn't do, WHAT IS OBAMA doing? He has had the reigns of the presidency for 5 years and about 123 days.
Who is Rush Limbaugh in comparison to ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, PBS, NYT, etc. you don't complain that they don't criticize the current president. Besides, according to you, Limbaugh (who had plenty of critical remarks about the previous administration) shouldn't have been criticizing a sitting president!!
Mike hit the nail on the head, this is what YOUR healthcare will look like under Obamacare. Enjoy

Yeah yeah, it's Bush. Why aren't you angry with Obama for wanting to turn the entire US healthcare system into the VA? The VA problems are a microcosm of what it will be like when govt runs it all. They can't even do well with one group of citizens, the vets.
Did he blast Baby-Face Bush? Apparently, this goes back to his administration.
