Americans Turn Sharply Favorable On Gay Issues
Americans’ attitudes toward the lives and choices of gays and lesbians have changed radically since Massachusetts first legalized same–sex marriage a decade ago.

A new survey finds a significant shift toward tolerance across every religious, political and age group and every region of the country, said Robert P. Jones, CEO of the Public Religion Research Institute. PRRI’s survey, released Wednesday (Feb. 26), reveals the ramifications of these changes in family, church and community life.

“Only the issue of marijuana looks anything like this in terms of rapid movement in favorability,” Jones said. “But with that one exception, it’s unusual to see this much change in a relatively short amount of time.” ...

There is a reason that sodomy has come to the forefront in our day and it is a prophetic one.

There are a few reasons not to be surprised about this. The 600 pound gorilla in this country a.k.a. Roman Catholic Church has always had a tendency to support this immoralities by its actions even when it condemned it in its own words. ...Catholic Attitudes on Gay and Lesbian Issues.... They can't be no surprise that this corruptive influence is finally being felt. Things will only get worse, Secrets of the Vatican (video)(Rated M!!).

Thinking that we can regulate morality is a Muslim/Catholic/Theonomist view, q.v., What is Postmillennialism, which has been seen as a failure throughout history. as my pastor said, "…. Only the Gospel changes lives in ways that are presently and eternally transforming. Involvement in political and social activities undermines, distracts from, and potentially corrupts the proclamation of the Gospel.…" Excerpt from the summary for the sermon, Contending For the Gospel.

The reprobate mind has no concern for self preservation, only indulgence, and in doing so it either destroys it's self or is destroyed by another.....this is God's judgment on the reprobate mind....this is evident in today's apathy and indifference in a world that is changing and increasingly anti American yet nobody seems to care....from the gutting of our military to what is now going on in Russia our big party is about to end.

They've become Arminian!!
These modern ones believe that "Salvation" is the gift - Thus they have not sought the true gift of God.

Abortion, abomination and someone said once that everything happens in threes - So the third one must be the effect of Liberalism on the minds of peoples and nations to corrupt society.
The reprobates are not only gullible but under the dominion of sin.

Dorcas, I have been listening to Jason Cooley's sermons lately, and have been blessed by them. Though, I havent listened the Hollywood series.
I have been blessed also by his preaching, GS. I usually don't listen to younger preachers but he seems to have a real love of the Lord and to see Him exalted .Also he exhorts the people to live a holy life.
Very Rare in these days!
He has really done his research on Hollywood. I would highly recommend that series.
If you have young children he gives quite an insight regarding Disney!

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
= Only two alternatives :::-
16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of (1) sin unto death, or of (2) obedience unto righteousness?

We can thank Hollywood for this. The last 20 years have been an all out push by the media to make this acceptable. Since people spent more time watching Hollywood programs than reading Scripture, its the result. Btw: Magic wands are made from Holly Trees..thus 'Hollywood' is just a magic wand

Like other forms of magic, they need chants for their divination to be a success. Just as the 70s hit 'Born to be alive' burned into minds that a fetus was not a life yet, the Lady Gaga hit 'Born this way' was the magic chant that pushed gay behaviour as natural and acceptable.

"...I just have to laugh when I look through the paper and see what the liberal preachers are going to preach for the Resurrection. They have a problem with that. And I enjoy their discomfort! One preacher's subject was given as "Easter is a Time of Flowers." Oh boy, don't you imagine that was a virile, robust sermon? No wonder there are so many sick saints when they are being fed watered down soup." J. Vernon McGee
