Eleven dead in Japan after worst snowfall in decades hits capital

Eleven people died, more than a thousand were injured and tens of thousands lost power when the worst snowstorm in decades hit Tokyo and areas around the Japanese capital before heading north to blanket the tsunami-hit Pacific coast.

As much as 27 cm (10.6 inches) of snow fell on Tokyo by late Saturday, the most in 45 years, Japan's Meteorological Agency said. Back streets in outlying neighborhoods remained choked with snow and frozen slush on Monday morning, forcing commuters in heavy boots to pick their way carefully to work. ...

I think I can help.

Blessed are the poor in Spirit ..
Blessed are the merciful ...
Blessed are peacemakers
Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness (justice for the oppressed)sake

Also, Do the well need doctors .. isn't it the sick who need healing?

There are many evil things going on in the world today. Christians do not despair over evil because they know it - evil - will one day be put to an end.

This is why Christians have every hope in the face of increasing distress.
After repenting of our sin, and even a child can do that, we know we are no longer part of the evil which destroys and will be destroyed.

Repentance brings it's own assurance when we believe what God has said .. that he will forgive us, that he can hear us and that he wants us to follow him so he can lead us to eternal life.

We rejoice because after evil is destroyed in the world we will be able live in joy and peace.

Up until that day we must be content with allowing the Word of God to destroy the evil intention in our own hearts. He will take care of the world in good time.

we discuss snow while fukushima rages.

what of the court case of servicemen on ship pushed through plume and sue as many dying of cancer or the thyroid diseases of children in province, or the refusal of other countries to take certain products found with radation or radiation levels found in US going up or changes in EPA levels going up?

why does SA have a news section if not to deal with the real, and hard issues of our day?

Right. The way this winter has been extremely cold in most of the lower 48 this might be the start of another ice age.
