A Texas federal judge will issue a quick ruling on the constitutionality of parts of the state's new abortion clinic law.Judge Lee Yeakel presided over three days of testimony from abortion providers, attorneys for the state and others. One of the contested requirements is that abortionists have admitting privileges at a hospital within 30 miles to maintain continuity of care for women suffering complications.
Dr. Joe Pojman of Texas Alliance for Life tells OneNewsNow Planned Parenthood argues that would mean some of its clinics would have to shut down.
"They are claiming that some 20,000 women are undergoing abortions at those facilities every year," the pro-lifer reports.
