Study: Growing Up in Gay Families Hamstrings Kids in School
A new Canadian study challenges the mainstream insistence that children living with same-sex couples are “no different” than children living with married, heterosexual couples. Using a large, nationally representative dataset, Canadian economist Douglas Allen found that young adult children of same-sex couples are 35 percent less likely to graduate from high school as young adult children of heterosexual married couples.
The study, published this month in the Review of the Economics of the Household, looked at a 20 percent sample of the 2006 Canadian census, which asked respondents to note whether they were raised by a lesbian couple, a gay couple, a married opposite-sex couple, a common law couple, a single mother, or a single father. The Canadian data is easier to interpret than similar U.S.-based studies because Canadian respondents self-report the information. Allen then compared high school...

Deuteronomy 24 16 "Fathers shall not be put to death for their sons, nor shall sons be put to death for their fathers; everyone shall be put to death for his own sin.---]]NASB
For you who have forgotten that!
To the subject at hand,
Charles C. W. Cooke wrote: Regnerus’s study is a success insofar as it answers the fundamental question of whether children raised by same-sex couples end up differently: Clearly they do, and it does not require a conservative viewpoint to see that “differently” very often means “worse.”

Hosea 4 vs 6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge : because thou has rejected knowledge , I will also reject thee, that thou shaky be no priest to me: seeing thou has forgotten the law of thy god, I will also forget thy children.

I've always understood this in the context of, "As you do, so shall you teach your children to do (directly or by example)." Recently, a pastoral counselor told me that, considering that everything that occurs in the brain is more or less simply chemical explosions, especially addictions (read as, "idolatry"), and these explosions have been found to change DNA, our idolatry is passed to our children in this way.
I'm not a neurologist, though, and I haven't done any research on this issue personally, but it was a bit of an "aha!" moment when I heard that.
It was more than confusing enough growing up in the late 60s and early 70s, having to adjust to the changing sex roles (from mom keeping the home while dad worked into both mom and dad working while home is empty). One can only imagine the additional havoc same-sex guardians will eventually have on the overall development of the current batch of kids. I'm 52 now and have lived long enough to see the trend go from bad to worse.
That's a good question, I would have to look into this. Off the top of my head, I think God dealt with the Jews a little more sternly than he does with Christians today, so maybe not, but then I can't think of anything in the new testament that removes Gods curse on future generations (kinda like how we don't have to the Sabbath). So to be honest, I'm not sure without doing some study.
Exodus 20 vs 5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, for I the lord thy god am a jealous god, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
Gs Do you think that the children of certain sins like those you allude to or say children of patents involved in witch craft arevthe recipients of familal curses ? I must say that when I interceded for my family i often confess and break the effect of certain sins that may affect me generationally ( or my children).
Matthew 18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the sea."
That's a pretty strong warning that directly applies to these sodomite couples that are raising kids. My sister is one such example. She has two kids, and God only knows what kind of horrible influence they are put through.
