Chicago: 5 Shot in Front of Church

The five were shot just before 6 p.m. Monday while standing near a bus stop at the intersection of Wilson Avenue and Sheridan Road, authorities said.

Four were hospitalized in serious-to-critical condition and one was in good condition. A 21-year-old man was shot in the head and is in critical condition on life support, authorities said. Police initially reported that the man had died. A 44-year-old man was shot in the knee and thigh. A 32-year-old man was shot in the ankle, and a 26-year-old man was shot in both arms. A 58-year-old man was shot in the hand.

The shooting happened outside the Uptown Baptist Church. Senior church pastor Michael Allen said in a tweet that about 20 gunshots were fired outside during the church’s Monday night meal for the homeless. “Blood pools at church steps. Pray for us,” Allen said on Twitter. ...

By the way,

UPS, I still think there is a lot of issues about the looseness of gun control. Here is an interesting article or actual an opinion piece, about a person using his concealed weapon.

http://concealednation.org/2014/07/opinion-chicago-man-who-fired-two-shots-at-robber-as-he-ran-away-will-not-face-charges/ what is interesting is that Chicago Illinois didn't have their records straight and apparently this man was 56 years old who did the shooting and not 86 if the police knew, he probably would have ended up in jail.

Ups I'm going to have to look over your remarks. They look very well thought out. I'm sorry I didn't see them sooner. Anyway, here are some videos about concealed weapons in Lincoln Nebraska. I'm going to wait for the confrontations at high noon.

Ha, Ha, Ha, I Guess This Website Is As Stupid As The Fool Who Shot Those 5 People !

But, Then Again, I'm From South Chicago Where Most Of The People Are Being Shot & Killed--So What Does Street-Preacher Know About What Goes On In The Streets Of Chicago's South, North, East & West Sides ?

And Because The "Jesuits" Already Have This Website By The Throat, I'm Expecting This Posted Comment--As Many Of My Previous Posted Comments--To Be Removed By The "Jesuit(ic)" moderator[s]-alpha-thru-omega On This TRUE-GOD FORSAKEN website !

I Know That Corner Near THE UPTOWN BAPTIST CHURCH Very, Very Well.

That Uptown Neighborhood Is So Full Of Poverty & Ignorance That It Reminds Me Of The City Of Nazareth During The Time Of Jesus Christ.

I Feel So Sorry For The Poor Lost Souls Who Live On The Streets, Alleys & Bushes In &-Or Around UPTOWN BAPTIST CHURCH--Some Can't Even Discern Their Right Hand From Their Left--Just Like In The City Of Nineveh During The Times Of Jonah.

One Wednesday Night Bible Study Church Service In The Late 1990s, I Stood Overnight In The Apartment Of A Philippino *Br.* In Christ Who Was A Member Of UPTOWN BAPTIST.

He Was A Former Member Of The Schaumberg, IL, Bethel Baptist Church: Pastored By Br. Frank Bumpus.

Kind like quoting an AARP article to support Obama care, you know what I mean? Also, research by economist John Lott and David Mustard published in a book titled "More Guns, Less Crime:Understanding Crime and Gun Control Laws" PROVE the link through detailed analysis of the crime rate being lower in right-to-carry areas, using data state by state and in various counties. In Kennesaw Georgia a law mandating homeowners to own a gun drastically reduced the overall crime rate and there wasn't a murder in a city with the third largest university in the state for the first 25 YEARS after the law was passed. Stop living in a fantasy world and heed by the previous post by non concealed weapons. Washington DC, Detroit, Chicago, have some of the toughest gun laws in the country and also share some of the highest murder rates. You have the biggest proof right in front of you that GUN CONTROL laws don't work and you blame the NRA?

Jim, you REALLY think the guns in these crimes are purchased legally, in a store?! Wow... Real slow now: law abiding citizens abide by the laws. Criminals are not law abiding citizens and do not abide by the law. The answer isn't more laws; it might be a return to biblically directed punishment which was judiciously and swiftly carried out!

South Chicago residents just thanking all the Liberal N. Chicago support they got?

"Calling gun control the “weak link” in Chicago’s public safety chain, Mayor Rahm Emanuel on Tuesday renewed his pitch for stiffer sentencing, background checks before gun purchases and a revised and strengthened assault weapons ban." Opening paragraph to, Emanuel: Gun control “weak link” in Chicago’s public safety chain.

Effective gun control, you no doubt drop the kill rate. It is physically impossible to kill the same number of people with a knife as it is with an assault weapon.

The only people who are making money of this flood of guns supported by Posse Comitatus (organization) (concealed weapons doesn't make society safer!) are the gun manufacturers. They truly know that state legislators are easily bribed, or even so stupid to believe the NRA's propaganda. Full Show: United States of ALEC.

But Chicago has some of the most strict gunlaws how could this happen? Is it because criminals don't follow the law to begin with? Will be praying for the victims and the gunman to get saved for that matter.
