Doctor Who Did 1,200 Abortions Tells Congress to Ban Them
Dr. Anthony Levatino is a pro-life physician from New Mexico but, before having a change of heart on the issue of abortion he was an OBGYN who also performed abortions.

Levatino did as many as 1,200 abortions ‚ÄĒ some of them after 20 weeks of pregnancy. Then, after his daughter died in a tragic automobile accident, he re-evaluated his position on abortion and stopped doing abortions.

Abortion was illegal in 49 or the 50 states until the Roe vs Wade took it out of the hands of the states. It was never a legislative act it was a judicial decree that stripped states of the power to outlaw abortion.

Christopher -- because the state is then pitted against questionable federal law.... due to Roe v Wade.

Congressmen have introduced legislation in the past that would move jurisdiction of abortion back to states -- this was largely led by Ron Paul and then ignored by GOP, and later introduced by others.... state jurisdiction could put criminal law back into play (because abortion is the ending of a life) and return the power of states to be a "state"....

hope this answers your question.

Yes Pilgrim, I remember many sorrows for things I did prior to salvation; I was a very very carnal fellow. Then one day I understood the sorrow that led to godly repentance. Thanks for that brother!
Yes, it is an obedience born out of great love for the Lord, for having done that which we could not do - keep the law perfectly. And then to bear away the wrath of God upon sin, in his own body on the tree.

And even that would not have been enough, for the work had to be applied to us sinners, who saw only the worldly sorrow which leads nowhere.

"Then one day I understood..."

"That knowledge was a gift from God..."

Ahhhh....the revelation of Almighty God, the grace that showed us not only ourselves, but the Saviour of the world. The revelation which wrought in us a heartfelt repentance, a turning away from sin, a detestation of things wrong and a new love for that which is right.

A NEW CREATURE, no less.

"For if any man be in Christ Jesus, he is a new creature...."

It's a miracle!

Yes Frank, you are right; there is sorrow and there is sorrow. I thought of the same text as you did:
2 Corinthians 7:10-11 KJV
10 For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
11 For behold this selfsame thing, that ye sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things ye have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.
We shall see.

I listened to this mass murderer and I sincerely hope others listen to him as well. It is somewhat graphic, but then abortion can be nothing else. I hope this man's sorrow will lead him to Christ so that his sorrow is not in vain. I will pray for him today.
