Kan. Gov. Brownback Signs Sweeping Pro-Life Bill Into Law

Kansas Governor Sam Brownback has signed into law a pro-life piece of legislation considered by many to be sweeping in its restriction of abortion.

Brownback signed the bill Friday, which among other things, blocks tax breaks for abortion providers and stops them from being involved in public school sex education classes.

The bill, known as House Bill 2253, includes language that defines life as beginning at fertilization and was passed overwhelmingly by Kansas' Republican-controlled House and Senate. ...

As a post abortion counselor for twelve years, I applaud Governor Brownback's bill. I have heard too many horror stories from women who have undergone abortions. I saw too many ambulances at George Tiller's clinic. Abortion is NOT safe. It is not healthy for women and it is a travesty that we don't tell it like it is. I'd love to tell what I know about this profitable and horrendous industry, but can't because of patient confidentiality.

Good for the governor and good for the state of Kansas. May every state follow their lead.

That said, what this govenor has championed and the Kansas legislature has adopted was broadly accepted human decency as little as 50 years ago. A mark of a regenerate Christian this do not make any more that it did 50 years ago.... rather it's an indicator of how deep into depravity western civilization has fallen in the past 50 years.

Every state needs to support this Gov. And Kansas! These mindless, relativistic, irrational "choice " proponents need to be stopped from murdering innocents. Hitlers Germany had nothing on ,them / us. God forgive us! I hope it is not too little too late. Why are we not seeing his trial covered? People cant stomach the truth?

After reading many news reports concerning Kermit Gosnell and his wicked murderous acts concerning the unborn,this is good news.
May this bill be signed in every state in this nation!
