Two years ago, national evangelical leaders began to speak out in favor of legislation to give legal status to immigrants in the United States illegally. Now, as Congress is about to start a debate on overhauling the immigration system, conservative Christians, once inclined to take a hard line on immigrants they viewed as lawbreakers, are consulting their Bibles and coming around to the pastors’ view. ...

Oh boy, John...you have been keeping that bit of information to yourself. Why? I would have began praying much sooner and would have been more specific; not that God doesn't know. If lowering your blood pressure through dieting or eating properly provides some relief, why in the world would you wait for the warmer weather to arrive before you start eating healthy?
Well, as for the aneurysms, Christ is the great physician, right? You know how I feel about prayer and its effects, so I will continue. Now that others have this extended, potentially life threatening information, I'm sure they will step it up and others, I hope, will join in.

John/UK...any relief on those headaches yet? I've been praying every day, as I'm sure some others have been as well. Thank you Christopher, yes I do have some relief, and am able to get back to my cottage industry, though I have lingering half-headaches, if that makes sense. It is wonderful to have brethren and sisters across the world bringing me before the throne of grace. I will no doubt feel better when the warmer weather turns up and I am able to eat more sensibly, which in turn reduces my blood pressure, which seems to have a great effect. I have two head aneurysms which may be the cause of the pain, both inoperable. I regard myself very fortunate to be alive, and praise God every day for the gift of life.

Frank...you have been awfully quiet; everything ok? Now that the depression has subsided, I am working on the website again. So, I could use your papers at some point to pick through them for ideas. I may convert what I have so far and send it to a couple of people, like you and Angela at some point in the near future., to see what you think and get some constructive criticism. There is still a ton of content to type so it is a slow work in progress. A little of the content is finished, but all of the templates and graphics are finished.

Someone better tell your representatives in congress and the senate. I don't think they are getting the memo!
