Spiritual Adviser: Obama ‘comforter in chief’

Joshua DuBois is not your ordinary pastor. For the past four years, the 30-year-old Pentecostal minister was the spiritual adviser to the leader of the free world, praying with President Obama in the Oval Office and leading the administration’s outreach to faith-based groups.

“He’s a deeply faithful president and didn’t need a whole bunch of help cultivating that faith,” DuBois said of Obama in an interview with Power Players on his term as director of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. “I would say that he has a daily Christian walk, in terms of his reading a devotional and spending time meditation-meditating on scripture each day.” ...

It's good to see that Dubois masters degree in public relations has not gone to waste. No really, check it out!

Long on politics and short on doctrine. Pentacostalism is just right for him.

Obama is not a Christian because his theology is wrong; black liberation theology. Because he is not a Christian, he supports the programs he supports. To get it backwards would mean that someone who doesn't support abortion, feminism, and homosexual lifestyles is a Christian. We obey Christ because we are justifed; we don't get justified because we obey.

Before we go bonkers with this man's ridiculous assessment of the President, we have to keep in mind the Black Theological perspective. To provide for the poor and downtrodden through government aid, Obama is a "Comforter". Plus, any sort of devotion, followed by righteous living or not, is considered "spiritual". Think about it, Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson still have the title "Reverend" before their names. Of course this man is way off, but it is because of his definition or meaning of the words used and actions alluded to in his statements.

Is DuBois on drugs stating that Obama is a Comforter In Chief? Obama is not a Christian as he supports abortion, homosexuality and every other perversion under the sun.

From the news: "He’s a deeply faithful president and didn’t need a whole bunch of help cultivating that faith,” DuBois said of Obama in an interview with Power Players on his term as director of the White House Office of Faith-Based and Neighborhood Partnerships. “I would say that he has a daily Christian walk, in terms of his reading a devotional and spending time meditation-meditating on scripture each day.” ...

If only he would believe what it said...
