Pope Benedict XVI in shock resignation

Pope Benedict XVI is to resign at the end of this month after nearly eight years as the head of the Catholic Church, saying he is too old to continue at the age of 85.

The unexpected development - the first papal resignation in nearly 600 years - surprised governments, Vatican-watchers and even his closest aides.

The then Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger became Pope after John Paul II's death.

The Vatican says it expects a new Pope to be elected before Easter.

SteveR, it is Biblical as has been pointed out in several sermons, ]]The Purpose of the Law was that ]]The Law Clarified Sin.

Considering the Romish priesthood is anti-Biblical, ]]The Scandal of the Catholic Priesthood (You should really read that, and the papacy itself is anti-Biblical, ]]The Pope and the Papacy. from which,

Steve. You haven't commented on your beloved Pope's criminal record yet?

See ]]Did Pope Benedict resign to Avoid Arrest?

"The ITCCS (International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State) Central Office in Brussels is compelled by Pope Benedict's sudden abdication to disclose the following details:

On Friday, February 1, 2013, on the basis of evidence supplied by our affiliated Common Law Court of Justice (itccs.org), our Office concluded an agreement with representatives of a European nation and its courts to secure an arrest warrant against Joseph Ratzinger, aka Pope Benedict, for crimes against humanity and ordering a criminal conspiracy.

This arrest warrant was to be delivered to the office of the "Holy See" in Rome on Friday, February 15, 2013. It allowed the nation in question to detain Ratzinger as a suspect in a crime if he entered its sovereign territory."

Excellent comments John U.K.,

This action by Benny 16 has brought a lot of filth to surface with problems in the Romish Church. The Romish Church says a priest holds his powers no matter when he obviously is anti-Christian, just part of the ]]The Scandal of the Catholic Priesthood. It is a denial of the requirement of an overseer of the church,

Titus 1
5 For this reason I left you in Crete, that you might set in order what remains, and appoint elders in every city as I directed you,
6 namely, if any man be above reproach, the husband of one wife, having children who believe, not accused of dissipation or rebellion.
7 For the overseer must be above reproach as God's steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not addicted to wine, not pugnacious, not fond of sordid gain,
8 but hospitable, loving what is good, sensible, just, devout, self-controlled,
9 holding fast the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, that he may be able both to exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict.---]]NASB

So, we have the anti-Christian cardinal ]]Mahoney voting...

Let's Not Totally Discredit Not a St-Ignatius Loyolan Wolf's Interpretation Of The MARK Of The BEAST.

A Careful & Detailed Reading Of Revelation 13 Shows That It's The "Earth-Beast" Of v.11 That "causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first ('Sea-Beast'), whose deadly wound was healed [v.12]".

It's Also This "Earth-Beast" Of v.11 Who:

A."had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed."

B."causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive A MARK In Their RIGHT HAND, Or In Their FOREHEADS:"

a."And That No Man Might Buy Or Sell, Save He That Had
[1]THE MARK, Or
[2]THE NAME Of THE BEAST, Or
[3]THE NUMBER Of HIS NAME."

We See The SEALED DOOM, IN THE LAKE OF FIRE, Of ALL Who HAVE IN THEIR RIGHT-HAND Or FOREHEAD:

#1.THE MARK (www ?)
#2.THE NAME OF THE BEAST (VICARIUS FILLI DEI ?)
#3.THE NUMBER OF HIS (THE SEA &OR EARTH BEAST'S) NAME;

666:

WWW, www Or Whatever MARK Corresponds With THE BEAST'S NAME, NUMBER OF HIS NAME Or "MARK OF HIS NAME (Rev.14:11)".

SteveR does not say they spell out the true biblical doctrine of the Lord's salvation.

All he can manage to say is that in his opinion they are a true depiction of biblical Christianity but he would never damn anyone for holding to the more popular doctrines of salvation!!

Presumably then if TULIP stand for salvation by grace alone, he would not condemn anyone for holding to salvation by works, or a mixture of grace and works?! He is such a good Roman Catholic!

Vester is an anagram of your name, SteveR.

TULIP is an acrostic, which spells out, as you said, the true biblical doctrine of the Lord's salvation. Any alternative involves works of the sinner.

As for Roman Catholics, if they believe the RCC doctrines of salvation, they are a genuine Catholic and still lost. Genuine Catholics believe they were born again when baptised, as do Anglicans. You will find this stated quite clearly in the Book of Common Prayer of the Church of England. Such people are very hard to convince that they need to be born again, and that they need to trust solely and wholly in the Lord Jesus Christ for their salvation. But occasionally some do, and when they are justified by faith alone in Christ alone, they inevitably repudiate the former teachings.
