Booms were heard following an air raid siren in Tel Aviv Thursday evening, just an hour after a rocket from the Gaza Strip exploded in an open field outside of Rishon Lezion. There were no reports of injuries in either strike.
The attacks mark the first time the center of the country was hit in the renewed violence from the Gaza Strip and the first time that a real siren was sounded in Tel Aviv since the Gulf War in the early 1990s. Palestinian Islamic Jihad took responsibility for the rocket on Tel Aviv....
An interesting article in the Jerusalem Post about ]]The man who keeps Tel Aviv safe from rockets. An interesting and not very long article about what the Israelis are doing.

There is no good reason to suspect any deception. Artillery rockets might even be worse than missiles because being generally unguided, they cause “collateral damage,“ i.e. civilian casualties. The Iranian Fajr-5 used by Hamas et al. carries a 175 kilo warhead, nothing like a child's toy. And collateral damage serves the purpose of terrorism much better than an expensive guided weapon.
Besides, I have seen numerous instances of uninformed journalists confusing related weapons, so I would still give them the benefit of a doubt here. For example, I often see SP artillery or IFVs described as tanks.
I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you throughout their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be God to you and to your descendants after you. I will give to you and to your descendants after you, the land of your sojournings, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God." (Genesis 17:7, 8 NASB)
Everlasting is a long time wouldn't you say? I don't think this was given to the Palestinians, who are really Jordanians that were moved there to try to make a claim to the land.
JPW, even secularists, many of them recognize why Israel is Jewish land, you can tell that this person is (liberal?) Jew in the way he interprets dates and such, but still quite a good article in the secular Huffington Post, ]]Does Israel Have No Roots There in History? While you make think we are the answer is no to, ]]Christian Zionists: The Real Terrorists?.
I certainly don't cry for the Palestinians considering that ]]The Jews took no one's land and considering how the Palestinians treated ]]The Beleaguered Christians of The Palestinian-Controlled Areas.

"If these attacks persist - and especially if they cause casualties - could this be the development that sparks an Israeli ground incursion into the Gaza Strip? Jerusalem and Tel Aviv are roughly similar distances from Gaza suggesting that it is Iranian-made Fajr-5 missiles that are being fired at the two cities." BBC correspondent
I do not pity their handlers, the great powers that feed into this and tell them it is gods or allahs will to congregate, and amass.
I do not understand this.
Why would a Jew be guaranteed land?
I am a Christian.....my standing with the Messiah is corrected by His work, and I have no promised land.
My home is in heaven. My covenant is the true one. This is what I have to offer them, and this is far better.
It is all madness to me. Am's boots all over the middle east, millions dead, Christians fleeing all over the place, old regimes replaced with MB. We have lost our minds. Millions dead and we get mad at fire rockets.
Yes if fire rockets were fired at my family I would be upset and want it to stop and if I was locked up in a camp for generations I would be upset.
None of it makes sense to me.
If the west thinks they must have that land, then go try to kill all the Mus's of the world, that's the only way to do it....and you will lose, because you will be just like them.
The religion of peace is at it again. Shocking! If only the moderate, peace loving Muslims would stand up for their religion.... Oh wait... There are no moderate peace loving Muslims. A house divided can't stand and Satan would never let his house be divided, especially when it comes to Israel.
