Iranian and U.S. negotiators have reached an agreement that calls for Iran to halt part of its nuclear program in exchange for the lifting of many of the U.S. sanctions against the Islamic regime, according to a highly placed source.
Iran’s supreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, expects a letter from President Obama in a few days guaranteeing the details of the agreement, arrived at recently during secret negotiations in Doha, Qatar.
The source, who remains anonymous for security reasons and is highly placed in Iran’s regime, said that once Khamenei receives Obama’s guarantees, he will authorize an announcement by Iran on a solution to the nuclear crisis before the U.S. presidential elections....
You can stand by your comments, as I will about Boozer Bush, which if memory serves, he admitted to himself, before he got religion. Interesting how his daughters went on an alcoholic frolic, when he was in office, but seemed to have been able to curtail their more embarrassing behavior when he was in office.
Well, I think I put up the comment about the Israeli PM, and even with all the handwringing (You probably don't remember I pointed out that Iran was the main problem not Iraq, (maybe even before the 2nd Gulf War?)). Talks with Iran on their nuclear program will be absolutely fruitless no matter what we do, though of course it's smarter not to cause the downfall of Assad, but keep bleeding Iran, since they are committed to helping him.
So, no in this case, it's quite clear Iran is working towards a nuclear weapon--all we need is another North Korea--and so if we tweak the nose of the real follower of Satan, q.v., Inadequacy of Islam, Iran etc. why should we care? We're going to have to bomb their nuclear capabilities into the dust, sometime in the future.

Mike of N.Y., I'm somewhat surprised of the poor response you had, I wouldn't dignify it with one, except lately it has been pointed out that Obama would attack Syria to prove to Iran he would attack them, if called for, e.g., --- ---
He may attack if it helps Dems in 2014, or a crisis is needed to focus elsewhere, or both. Have you paid attention to the talk of chemical warfare? Back when it was called WMD's. It all sounds strangely familiar, don't you think?
PS, I stand by my October comment, nothing has changed that I can see.
UPS, you made an extremely interesting comment, since I dislike National social Greek organizations with a passion! (Yes, basically I was sought after, being white, and having an influential father, but I made the mistake that I was planning to become a serious student at UNL!) So, Baby Bush made a great politician for his memory for names, but an incredibly incompetent leader--drunk most of the time in school? By the way, my opinion of Ivy League schools went down when they give special treatment to the likes of the Bushes and Kennedys. Some frat brats may have to learn something soon! I have no problems with the facts, try viewing, Full Show: Plutocracy Rising, the fact is, we are living in a second "Gilded Age," and Christians should stop aiding the plutocrats in running the country.
Actually some of the people who have even called themselves "entertainers," in the past on Reactionary Radio, are the ones who follow Joesph Goebbels religiously, and are insufferable as a result. I appreciate well-done propaganda. Propaganda Techniques, they are fun mind puzzles to solve.

1) You'd have less problems with facts if you could let go of liberalthink, Jim. It was one of your favorite sources, the New York times, that came out with the story. Not conservative talk radio.
2) Like you do with "republican corruption," the KJV bible, "bumbling Bush," "Jack Abramoff"? Do you consider Joseph Goebbels a mentor?

Actually no one insulted Obama as you have Bush, you need to START listening to conservative talk radio so you hear the truth every once in awhile. But seeing you chose to cut down the intelligence of former president G W Bush, here is an ancillary story from his college days.. Yet at the same time that he was earning C's at Yale, Bush displayed a formidable intelligence in another way. At his induction into the Delta Kappa Epsilon (DKE) fraternity, he and others were asked to name all fifty-four pledges in the room. Most were were able to name only five or six. When it was Bush's turn, he named every single one. Later he rose to become president of DKE

Maybe the October surprise is that so many people are still deluded about the president.
From the news item: "The source, who remains anonymous for security reasons and is highly placed in Iran’s regime, said that once Khamenei receives Obama’s guarantees, he will authorize an announcement by Iran on a solution to the nuclear crisis before the U.S. presidential elections."
Obama needs something to change focus away from his record. It should be easy enough to determine whether there is anything to this story. If there is an announcement, we'll know who Khomeini wants to win the election. I'm pretty sure a weaker US would be fine with the honorable Ayatollah. It would also confirm how desperate the president is, to make deals with one who thinks the US is the Great Satan.
I heartily agree with Jim, you should wait until you see this in more than one source. Maybe CBS would have done well on that with Bush guard duty story. Also, you shouldn't trust sources as reliable reporting in support of Obamacare when they stand to gain 2.8 billion from its passage.
But using the Jim from Lincoln litmus test for unbiased coverage by a reporter that he assigns to Bill Moyer: because we have heard criticism of the republican party and their candidates from Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, and Rush Limbaugh (why they even criticized Bush!!) then they are not to be considered ideologues(please note I think they are and they state they are but we are using a different measuring stick) Maybe this story is the Obama October surprise.
I wonder who this "high official" was, and why it is reported in far right "news" sources. Now don't get me wrong, sometimes WND has some excellent articles perhaps meets the quality that you would find in the "Atlantic [Monthly]" but other times they can come up with drivel, this looks like one of those times. When a CBS, USA TODAY even come with the same story, I will then take note.

Beware of propaganda that causes people to distrust and hate one another and ultimately leads to the destruction of people and property. The Persians are not the ogres our controlled media has portrayed them as being.
