BBC thinks Christians are ‘lunatics’ says presenter

The BBC has a mindset that assumes Christians are “lunatics”, one of its own broadcasters has said.

Roger Bolton, former Sunday programme host, said a “liberal secular elite” are dominating television.

He said: “Just because somebody is against gay marriage or against IVF doesn’t necessarily mean they are a lunatic.”

Mr Bolton also thinks the BBC unfairly pokes fun at Christianity but would not dare with Islam.

"The spokesman said: “BBC religion and ethics provide over 170 hours of programmes.
“These provide the audience with a rich mix of programmes that reflect society’s relation to religion today.”

Absolute poppycock!! Hogwash and nonsense!!

If we take the Sunday programme on Radio 4 what you get is what the BBC is - namely - LIBERALISM and more of the same.

The BBC wouldn't know religious truth from the back end of a bus.

Its like the sunday Songs of Praise which is so mushy that it is embarrassing. Mushy Liberalism 'is' religion to them in their complete ignorance of the truth.

As for, quote, "... a rich mix of programmes that reflect society’s relation to religion today.” - Society today is vastly more secular and the national church today is soap opera. If that is the 'relation' which BBC refers to then they are correct, viz BBC, church and society know zilch and zip about Biblical Christianity.

In fact as a 'creative' organisation, as regards Christianity the BBC demonstrates "ex nihilo nihil fit."

That hardly seems objective. A quick look in the recent headlines would be more informative as to who the real lunatics are.
