SERMONAUDIO TIP
Kindle Fire + Nook Tablet Version 2.7 (Legacy)
Attention all users!

We're very happy to announce our official support for some of today's newest tablets -- we now have a SermonAudio app for the Kindle Fire and Nook Tablet!

New! Update Version 2.7! A new LOCAL section now appears that quickly presents your local weather along with newly-added sermon titles and churches that are local to your area. Discover new content and ministries around you!

New! Version Updates! Version 2.6 introduces support for Google Chromecast. Also, the audio player is now more robust, the audio player's notification + lockscreen has playback controls, links from the main website can open directly in the app, and player Bluetooth metadata support.

User Feedback: God is Good! All the time! With SermonAudio, I get to work and listen to what the Holy Spirit puts up on my heart to hear. Really, I just want to praise God for this application and thank the developers!

User Feedback: This app changed my life! This is literally one of the best apps period. And with constant updates it keeps getting better and better.

New! Update Version 2.5! We've jumped to our 2.5 update which cumulatively includes improved searching with auto-complete suggestions, export downloads to public storage and Android media player, grouping downloads by speaker, a better download notification, and several fixes and stability improvements.

New! 2.1 Update Supports Maps! Our 2.1 update includes some minor fixes but for Kindle Fire users, it now supports MAPS (Local Church Finder). Enjoy!

New! Major Release Version 2.0! Our version 2.0 is a major release that now supports both phone and tablet form factors (landscape + portrait modes). Audio, video, and PDF sermons can now be downloaded to the app for offline enjoyment. The app has been redesigned with native controls and largely rewritten for more robust support of the newer Android devices. Other improvements include: Player auto-resume, click title to jump to sermon, speaker + album graphics.

Read more about the complete Android featureset!

Download it for free! Here's how you can get it today. Simply go to the store section found on the device itself and search for "sermons" in the catalog. It's completely free of charge and available today!

SermonAudio Kindle Fire + Nook Tablet allows you to elegantly browse and search through our library of over 2,470,000+ FREE MP3 sermons from thousands of different speakers and listen to any of them immediately on your tablet! Additionally, you can watch sermon videos, tune into live webcasts, and even search through hymns!

24x7 Radio Stream! You can now tune into our unique 24x7 Radio Stream for non-stop preaching+music enjoyment! Simply click on the RADIO icon located in the HOME tab and keep it running all day long! All sermons played can be found here!

Enjoy most of the same features as found in our SermonAudio Android Edition including background playback, live webcast and video support, 24x7 radio stream, ROKU TV integration, context-sensitive search, and much more!

Kindle Flash Support Tip: If you wish to use the flash player on your Kindle Fire, you'll need to first enable flash support. To do this, look for the flash option in the BROWSER app settings. Nook has it enabled by default.

Enjoy it and spread the word!

Please add "Amazon Fling" support to SermonAudio! It's Amazon's own Kindle/Fire answer to Chromecast/Google Cast, that they literally just released today. It's a new casting API that will allow beaming/casting of SermonAudio media content to the Fire TV. Please support it? https://developer.amazon.com/public/apis/experience/fling

I downloaded this app, or at least the latest one, which is what I was shooting for from the Amazon App store. It works on both my Cruz T301 and PS47, the first being a Froyo version of Android with a MIPS processor and the latter a standard ARMS processor with Gingerbread. So, it does work on something other than Kindle and Nook.

i downloaded this app onto my nook color, however it does not seem to have any way to download and play the sermons when i'm not on my WIFI network.
it downloads to MP3 but i cant find the mp3 file in any of my folders. so it must be in the app data somehwere and when i try to play the dowloaded file as a mp3 not using the sermon audio built in playewr , it gives me the error the nook does not support this type of file, so it will only play the sermon using the apps player which only works when im in my wifi.
so i cant play them while in the car.
The menu download option is missing completely from the main menu, i have the iphone version and that works fine. it downloads and you can go to the download menu and it shows all the files you downbloaded and you can play them. bottom line does not work on Nook color.

They don't have to John UK, they can download the And-Bible app, and get a great Bible like the ESV. Oh, they can also get the KJV with the Strong Concordance, which is of course a necessity with that particular version of the Bible. It works quite well, that app. Since the T301 comes with the Kindle bookstore, you can also download one of the NASB versions either the 1977 or the 1995. They make for great reading.

Actually, probably years ago, I pointed out that since I read the RSV and the NIV, several times before I had picked up the AV, for many years, lo and behold, the AV was quite understandable. So the best way to understand the AV is to pick up a ]]New King James Version, especially a ]]The Macarthur Study Bible ~ New King James Version and read through it several times. (And never hurts anyone to read you the Bible several times. ) No doubt then, the AV would be quite understandable.

Micro Velocity Cruz T301 owners, might try the freewarelovers site to get an earlier version of this app. Especially if you have a hard time, getting on the Google site. It works quite well. I believe it's the 1.4 version.
Well if folks can understand all that, they'll have no problem reading and understanding the Authorized Version, given a little application.

Got it! It's the same as my android phone app. I may still go to the website though because there are more options. It's easier to look up older threads and I am able to respond directly to someone else's post and I can go in and correct words that auto-correct screws up.

Well, I'm going have to see if I can get the android app for SA onto my fussy tablet. It sounds like a handy thing for me to have. But when you spend less than 100 bucks for a tablet you can expect everything in fact the only thing you can expect is that you aren't going to have a lot of things. (My tablet as really taught me to appreciate my netbooks. )
