Pope reaches out to other faiths in visit to his homeland
Pope Benedict XVI began his first state visit to his homeland Thursday by reaching out to members of other faiths, meeting with German Jewish leaders in Berlin where he stressed that what the two faiths "hold in common is not an insignificant part of their traditions."

"It is clear to us all that a loving relationship of mutual understanding between Israel and the Church, each respecting the existence of the other, still has further to grow and needs to be built into the heart of our proclamation of the faith," Benedict told dozens of rabbis gathered at the German parliament, known as the Reichstag. ...

The humanist Swiss member of Parliment reaches out to Germany with Jesuit inflenced humanist propaganda (remember the meeting in Ireland). Now the pope visits his homeland willing to accept all 'Christians' that accept the Roman Church as 'Christian'. In there own writings they except Islam. Does this seem curious to anyone why our attention is being diverted to another group of violent believers as they have been historically? They have only changed their methodology, for a season.

The article was talking about the number of Muhammadans in Germany, not in the world. The Benny 16 no doubt has a soft spot for in heart for Muslims anyway, Catholic Priest: Mary Brings Catholics and Muslims Together. And just as Roman Catholics, Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses have a salvation by works idea, the Muslims have it with a vengeance.

"Benedict was to meet with representatives of the Muslim community. With around 4.3 million Muslims, building a dialogue between the two religions must be promoted, says Karin Kortmann, vice president of the Central Council of German Catholics...." --from the article. Yes, the Pope should point out again,

Pope Benedict XVI said,

Stressing that they were not his own words, he quoted Emperor Manual II Paleologos of the Byzantine Empire, the Orthodox Christian empire which had its capital in what is now the Turkish city of Istanbul.

Emperor Manual II Paleologos of the Byzantine Empire wrote:
Show me just what Muhammad brought that was new and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached.

Actually, Roman Catholics, Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses, Muslims, and German Protestants who don't believe in Christian and Catholics -- never together! really do have a lot in common.
