'Bloodless persecution' predicted for Christians
Christianity has been around what now is Europe since the first century, with some parts of the New Testament written to people in Greece and Rome. But a new report is warning that open hostility to Christianity across the continent is on the rise and intolerance is being paired with legislative power to attack and violate the religious rights of the faithful.

"There are signs that hostility towards free and open demonstrations of faith is growing. Christians are increasingly marginalized and are appearing more often in courts over matters related to faith. So I think that we are heading for a bloodless persecution," Gudrun Kugler told Mercatornet about her organization's newest report.

The report, called "Shadow Report on Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians in Europe," cites page after page of examples of attacks on Christians and Christianity across Europe. ...

Secularism and apostisy will no doubt be the cause of so much of Christianity becoming ineffectual. When we see the likes of Paisley embracing murderers, laughing and joking with them, being unashamed in going over to the camp of the enemy, it is a dark day. Protestantissues2.com

"I have the impression that journalists and policy-makers are often more anti-Christian than their fellow citizens. But they shape the mood of the country"

Yes thats not far off the mark. Politicians are certainly proving themselves to be anti-Christian especially here in the UK. Whether Conservative, Socialist(Labour) or Lib-Dem the legislation passed in these last few decades has been Liberal, Politically Correct and therefore anti-Christian, especially as affects homosexuality, abortion and foreign religions.

But churches such as the Anglicans, (CofE) and in Scotland the CofS are as much to blame as the bureaucrats, because they reject Scripture to take the snivelling politically correct sinner pleasing position too.

Thus the real people who are persecuted and marginalised are true Christians who stick to the Bible and reject sin and lusts. Of course as history shows it is nothing new to see the Christians persecuted by a world to which we do not belong where Satan rules the nations.

The comments by the Pope were excellent, just one large problem, The Pope and the Papacy are what Europeans are reacting to, since they think that Catholicism is Christianity and it isn't, Should Roman Catholicism really be classified as a Christian religion? -- No.. For centuries European suffered from the effects of state churches,

The Islamists hate everything other than what they are themselves. They killed, for example, over 100,000 Algerians who disagreed with their brand of Islam. These are [their] fellow Muslims.
