Breaking with her father, Barbara Bush voices support for gay marriage

Barbara Bush, one of former President George W. Bush's twin daughters, is appearing in a new video voicing her support for same sex marriage.

"I'm Barbara Bush, and I'm a New Yorker for marriage equality," she says in a 22-second video released Monday by the Human Rights Campaign, a group that lobbies for equal treatment for gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgenders.

"New York is about fairness and equality," she says in the video. "And everyone should have the right to marry the person that they love." ...

Hardly. You evidently can recognize all my posts.
Everything on the internet is public and trackable - even your own early posts that no longer show up under that magnifying glass next to your pseudonym.

As you can see, when challenged I reply. There are plenty of folks on this forum who run and hide, and others who change the subject, when challenged.

Hello there bird, [fowl, flying feathered friend] yes I do understand, [know comprehend, realize, and cognisize]the fact, [reality, obviousness and clarity] of a statement, [communication, word, writing, and posting] being reduced, [boiled down to, and shrunk to the greatest exent] in order to show, [demonstrate, and make one aware] of the absurdity, [irony sarcasm, and cognotive issonance] that such a statement would produce, [induce without excuse] to those it was intended for, [directed and sent to]
But, I hope you don't like, [love, have affection for, or amoratize me] for I am already married, [in covenant with, hitched to, and legaly connectad to] someone else. So, goodby, see [ya later, arrivederci, so long, and sayounara].

By all means, "demand the right" because that is also your right in a republic. However, God's kingdom is not a republic and one day every knee will bow to Him.... yes even you.
I would say yes, she can demand her rights in this republic, but according to foundational understandings, those rights come from God, not government. That being understood there can be no right to demand a non-existent right to marry someone of the same sex.

The voice of liberal minds who reject the counsel of God....

Pro 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes: but he that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise.

Pro 19:21 There are many devices in a man's heart; nevertheless the counsel of the LORD, that shall stand.

Psa 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

By all means, "demand the right" because that is also your right in a republic. However, God's kingdom is not a republic and one day every knee will bow to Him.... yes even you.

Sadly this daughter belongs to a blind and evil generation which destroys decency and moral standards.

God states and rules.

"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." Leviticus 20:13

God states and rules

"For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:" Romans 1:18ff

Matthew 10:33-38 KJV But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven. Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. And he that taketh not his cross, and followeth after me, is not worthy of me.

You cannot read the truth in Scripture. There are many in the churches who cannot. Such as these in Christ's time.
Mat 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
They sound kosher but are now languishing in hell!

Will it still be "cool" when you have a son or daughter who wants to marry another of the same sex? If "yes", it becomes clear that you will likely not have a son or daughter apart from adoption. You will need to lend from the straight to perpetuate a lifestyle contrary to nature and God.

Think!

It will be anything but cool when this life is over, for people that are in favor of homosexuality.

Again Amanda, if you ever truly get born again, you will have such a total change of opinion on these issues, that you will be ashamed that you ever held them.
You no doubt will think this, and other comment consistent with it, are mean staements. That is because your view of God is probably as a big Mr. Nice guy that never tell anyone no. A God somewhere betewwn Santa Clause and Mr. Rogers. That is not who God really is.

Amanda (joppy)
Are you sure you really want something more than convient verses? Your post kind of reminds me of the fault-finding hateful Pharisees of Jesus' day who looked for an excuse to pass judgement on Christ to have Him crucified, and were especially famous for taking the Sabbath, something that was very much in the Bible, and distorting it all out of reason to the command of God it was. I would hope to think you really don't want to be than kind of person.

Here is an inconvient verse for you. Honestly humbly taking it to heart and applying it to your life will bring wonderful change in your life.

2 Timothy 2:15
Be diligent to present yourself approved to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Back to the thread, Barbara is doing something far worse than disagreeing with her dad, she is surpressing the truth in unrighteousness and storing up wrath for herself, as are those who have misled her and welcome and applaud, for the day of judgment when it is before Christ they stand not before the self appointed politically correct "gods" of this present time.
